This was the first week of college football. How the fuck am I supposed to know what these teams are like until I see them play once. We can't really believe what the anal-ists say. Both Michigan State and Michigan were supposed to be bad ass teams in 2012. Both flunked. Notre Dame is going to kick both their butts big time. Watch. Robinson from Michigan was a HUGE disappointment. Bell is the only offensive player on State that was worth a shit.

Don't get me wrong. Bama is a good team and Saban is a good coach. But they won't be national champs in 2012/13. That you can count on.

BAMA shit stomped a good Michigan Team last night. Definitely not a great Michigan Team but a good Michigan Team. USC shit stomped a bad Hawaii team at home. I definitely don't think USC would blow out BAMA. USC has not faced a big fast defense like they would if they went up against BAMA. USC has 75 scholarship players. They are very good players but injuries could really screw their chances for a NC birth.

It is unfortunate about what happened to Boise last year. If they would have beaten TCU things would have turned out differently for them. Boise definitely would have given BAMA more of a fight than LSU. The Big 12 just needs to man up and invite Boise into the conference. TCU is now a member and geographically it would make way more sense than the Big East.

I was very pleased with the 4 running back attack by BAMA last night. I will reserve judgement about our season until we play Arkansas in a couple of weeks in Arkansas. That game will really show how far BAMA can go this season. We have a very tough season with games at Arky, LSU and Tennessee. Tennessee is not going to be a gimmie this year.

My favorite quote last night was from Herbstreit, " I think I want to change my pick of USC & Florida State in the National Championship."

You're right, Bama. If USC has 2 or 3 key players injured this yeat they're fucked. But let's cross that bridge when we come to it. In the meantime, USC is the baddest team in the nation. That's not to take anything away from Bama. You got a top 10 position locked in. And we have to hand it to Saban for putting together such a good team after losing so many to the pros. He's a top notch coach and will probably go pro himself in the next few years.

I don't know when Boise will have a team again like in 2011/12, if ever, BamaBoy. Coach Peterson is going to have to do some superb recruiting for that to happen. And it will take at least 3 more years. Boise's defense is good. But their offense absolutely sucks and is an embarrassment after last year. It just pisses me off that the BCS did them wrong last year. Corrupted fucks.

Bama-Arkansas should be a decent game. But didn't Arkansas lose a bunch of star players who got shitcanned for felonies? I see that Arkansas is ranked #10. They can't be any worse than Michigan or Michigan State.

My pick record is abysmal so far. I always suck in the first part of the season until I get a feel for the teams. I usually play catch up like I did last year. But I finish strong.

Could you do a cumulative season tally at the end of each week this year so everyone knows where we stand??

Just because the 2011 season is over it doesn't mean it's a mute issue. The BCS is no doubt just as corrupted this year as it was last. I got a long memory.

Boise State was a nice story, with the blue turf and all. They had impressive opening day wins the past few years, and even beat the great pretenders at TCU in a bowl game. But in between all of that, they beat a bunch of nobodys. They are a nice little program that can continue success, especially when they start playing the frauds in the Big East. However, Bama's second-team could have mopped the floor with them in any of these years. In fact, the Detroit papers' major critique of Moore, is that he can't take the heavy traffic of the NFL.

You just shrug and get used to it. Michigan State got fucked out of a BCS game last year by Michigan. They beat Michigan, and barely lost the Big Ten (12) title game,but Michigan got the bid, because they travel better. This won't be legit, until we have an eight-team playoff.

I do agree with Fucktard that we do have a flawed system concerning the BCS and College Football. Boise deserved a much better bowl match up than they got last year.

The other day I was listening to XM-Sirius Channel 91 (College Sports) I high recommend this channel. During the morning Coach Rick Nieuheisal (Old UCLA Coach- I misspelled his name) was talking about having 3 Divisions of College Football (1A, 1AA & 1AA). We have over 140 Teams in Division 1A. This is way to many teams who cannot all compete equally. Some teams just have more resources and alumni support. I really think we will have a Division 1A with 4 Conferences with 16 teams each.

The issue or conspiracy is that the bowl system and BCS has such a strangle hold on College Football. The process of implementing at least an 8-team playoff is taking so much time because every University President in Division 1A has to agree to a playoff system and changing the status-quo.

Unfortunately some teams are getting screwed. Not just Boise State but also Oklahoma State last year because the Big 12 does not have 12 teams and no conference championship game. This scenario can even hurt the SEC this year if Bama or LSU has one loss and we have a undefeated team like Florida State in the ACC. FSU is going to be a good team this year (sorry Fucktard) but they play in a weak BCS Conference.

Boise State will not play in the Big East for very long. The Pac 12 or Big 12 will step up and invite them. Every member institution of each conference also has to agree to give an invite to a prospective member. These processes take a long time and we are all very inpatient fans.

Boise really belongs in the PAC 12. Much more so than Colorado or Utah - teams that couldn't carry Boise's water. But teams like USC and Stanford and Oregon don't want the competition that Boise would bring to the conference so intentionally excluded them. If Boise had a PAC 12 spot it would also be much easier for them to recruit players that would otherwise go to USC, Stanford or Oregon. That's another reason they got shut out. Dirty pool.
