Exactly. These challenges have been here for years. Blame the goals. Blame the pod but other companies are succeeding with the same challenges and news flash most have PODS. Quit crying and realize you just suck at this job.

What specialty companies use pods??? Out of curiosity... That's primary care you speak of, friend. And in this gig, success can be defined in some very interesting ways. I may be growing market share and volume but ranked lower than someone losing both. And if you can't relate to the above posters gripes Abt generics being required and hospital mandates- your turn will come. Till than, enjoy your good fortune. You may find out "you suck at this job" in the near future.

What specialties use pods? You need to get out more. BMS, Novartis, Abbott, Pfizer, Allergan...all use Pods or at least one overlay in specialty.

Do you feel Cardvascular, , Hematology, Oncology and Derm as specialty? If so, those companies do have a least ONE partner in the sales force.
You are an idiot. ALL products have NEVER been covered by every plan. You have been spoiled with Shire. Can't wait until you get out into the real world and realize the reason we have paid sales reps is because they actually have to sell. If it was easy, they wouldn't need you.Again, nobody says Shire has a clue of what they are doing. Frequency of seeing doctors doesn't increase sales. This isn't 1999 when payers would cover all products.
