Yes he is, nothing but a self promoter DSM who has to give out a trophy or a plaque to his reps every quarter. He’s extremely lucky he has a winner district. What he doesn’t realize is it’s much easier to win in a low volume district. Based on his posts from workplace his total district volume is not even close to my solo territory goal of 180 farxiga scripts a week!
He has successfully implemented Bob Gilot’s back door strategy. There’s no telling what you can accomplish when you focus on the back door.

Suggesting you know anything at all about leadership when you’ve spent your entire post-college life working for a drug company is tantamount to saying you’re an expert in physical intimacy due to extensive experience in prison showers.
 




The DSM hired for the Boston breast team, CCM, was pushed out of BMS a couple of years ago for creating a contentious culture and discriminating against a Jewish employee. She forced her onc sales team to read what turned out to be an evangelical Christian self-help book and to present chapters at a meeting in Maine. When there was pushback she told the Jewish employee they could “leave the room” during the presentation. Obviously huge HR debacle ensued followed by RBD attempt to terminate. Then all of a sudden she’s a manager at Amgen terrorizing that team and now she’s yours. Enjoy

The problem is AZ’s socialist culture. The leadership “bench” is well established, and just like a bread line, you only move up after the person in front of you gets theirs. And you’re only allowed in the line if you’ve been there long enough. So a smart person from the outside will never get ahead because they’re not a party apparatchik.
