Just tell all of your non-white doctors about what happened and that you were called the N word. Tell them the company (Abbvie), your managers name and all involved. Non white doctors are highly empathetic to this as most have been discriminated against by a white person in their life. This will teach them a lesson. Also, the company is held responsible for this and so the manager. Your manager/former manager's behavior is unacceptable and he should be blacklisted from working in the industry again.
Anyone who's racist or any Caucasian person who used offensive names to call minorities needs to be outed. You should also create a Facebook and Instagram page or really any social media account and share it with as many people as you can. There's no room for racists against nonwhites in this industry when 50% or more providers are of a different ethnic background and many non-whites are in the research team with Abbvie.
If they can call you the N word, god knows what they call other minorities.
You need to talk to at least 3-4 different attorneys and get their take and go forward w filing w your state. Don't wait.. do that ish now!!! You have a statute of limitations in your state so you're wasting time by not reporting it. Report it and they will investigate.
I'm writing this bc I've witnessed racism and caucasians speak of highly offensive things about minorities and it's unacceptable. That racist mofo needs to be gone from the industry all together and suffer in the unemployment line.
