Hold on, P1 did ask for $'s on the phone screen sheet we had to fill out. During the P1 screen, manager call and panels ALL parties indicated I was in range. I am external and they are going back and forth with me now about a lower salary. Why now? ALL parties should have said I was aiming too high from the get go and it would have saved everyone time and effort. I put 151k on the salary sheet. Look, I know that is on the high end but why didn't P1, Gene or the hiring manager say anything? I still may join but am worried about this experience. What next, 'oh our bonus target was 36 when you applied but now it is xyz amount'. I am not bitter and the panel managers were
great. Just curious if other externals have experienced this? Good luck, it is a great drug.

I'm in the hematology franchise and find your comments very interesting. Not sure why you are saying they are going back and forth with you when they haven't even started extending the offers to external candidates yet with a single person and I know this for a fact as one of the hiring managers for the MS franchise is my best friend and obviously knows what is going on. Please explain yourself.
 


















External candidate here. I haven't received an offer nor have any salary negotiations begun, but I did just receive an email asking for documentation of any stock, bonus, etc, that I would be leaving on the table. The very first thing I was asked by P1 during my initial phone screen was what salary it would take to make me walk away from my current company and I gave them the figure. I have been thru the entire process including panel interviews and no one has discussed salary. I've been in this process now for well over a month ~ I certainly hope they wouldn't put me thru this entire process if they intend to offer me a salary that isn't at least in the ballpark of the figure I gave them. Good luck to everyone who is in the process!
 






For those that are starting to get requests from P1 asking for stock option verifications, W2s, etc....what week did you interview at panels? Anyone from last week getting these calls yet?

Only 4 from the dying Lucentis franchise? Wonder how many internals will get the offer...

BTW - SSF is rife with rumours of massive bloodletting in next few months as the reorgs are rolled out. It's quite unsettling for the GNE peeps as Roche is in the tough spot with biosimilar challenges to the cash cows Avastin/Herceptin/Rituxan in 2018.

Interesting. So are there plans to layoff more Lucentis reps? Is Eyelea to blame?
