Mr Pigg

Some of the contracts ( and Medicare bids ) that Rotech bid and accepted are probably not profitable. Those Medicare contracts surely didn't bring any ( new ) business to Rotech. some of the contracts accepted are the cause of all the turmoil not just at Rotech but at Apria, Lincare and other providers. Until the industry quits bidding to lose money, this is how employees will be treated. A wise management team should be able to say no to government contracts when they don't make anybody any money.

If the contracts were so bad then they would not have fought so hard to get them back. Plus, these big companies can not survive without .gov contracts anymore. Unless you want to try to sell 500 million cash walkers to a country with 310 million people. Maybe they can try to start a trend with patients collecting different types of walkers as a hobby? Just thinking outside the box here to make your logic work without lowering their revenues to 10 million a year and watching the lights go off and the paychecks stop coming.

Don't think I have to explain myself. But, Rotech is still here regardless of the 9,000+ posts over the last 5+ years about the ship sinking. I know a lot of CRS got raises. Unfortunately not all. I know a lot of locations just got their leases renewed. I know of a few locations that just got new vehicles. Again, not enough, but a few. But, if you want to come on here pretend you know something that you don't. Go ahead. It's your right.
Good or bad, Rotech will be here in another 5 years and some of you will still be posting about how they have only weeks left. And again, that's your right. If you want to come on here and bitch and whine, that's the American way. Have at it.

CRS????

He could and would get on your truck and work circles around you. The man has done it all in this business. Nobody is perfect but having a real DME guy for a leader instead of just a CEO type is the best thing to happen at Rotech in over a decade. He wants you to have a nice van because that will mean the company is doing well.

He wants you to stop typing, and keep rubbing his feet......i hope your wife dont find out that your lusting offer this guy.

This organization is definitely headed in the right direction with Mr. Pigg at the helm. We will be an even bigger player in the nationwide market here soon. Even bigger than we already are.

Only way this would happen is if there was a merger. And if that was the case then that has little to do with him and was more then likely negotiated by Carter and Alsene anyway. If it is a merger, he is the guy sweeping up after the concert is over not a member of the band.

lmao,seems someones done thier homework.

Mergers and acquisitions only happen when there is value in companies. At this time there is little value in any dme company. The competitive bidding program has taken any profit the companies may have had at one point. Getting contracts below cost only mean you can lose more money than you did before the contract. Heck even if you thought a contract would win you business it doesn't because everyone else gets a contract at a Medicare rate that's made up by Medicare. It may not be the rate you bid at but what Medicare thought was a fair rate based on your bid.

Sad day for about 50 employees today. Some have put their heart & soul into this company for many, many years. I don't know how any upper management can sleep at night. No one in this company has job security.

They put their heart and soul into billing. At the end of the day it didn't matter because they weren't even billing at a rate high enough to bring in a profit!

From what I hear sales has not provided enough sales revenue to keep the billers working. You got to have more coming on than going off especially with the 36 month cap on oxygen patients. It amazes me the ineptness in the national corporate offices in dme.

What does mean for the locations in that area? If they are not profitable or providing enough billing, will they close?
