This is another joke of a ceo. He plays ceo monday till thursday in florida. Then flys home to denver,nc every week. But asks employees and locations to tighten belts and save $10. The money the company spends flying him home every week could be better spent.pick up equipment guys or we might have to buy something new what a joke. Bragging about not having to buy a new o2 concentrator in a year

You people make me laugh. All you keep saying is this company is going down. You can read posts from 5 years ago saying Rotech will be shut down with in a month. Yet here they still are.
I get it . The buttons are stupid. The raises are a joke. You are understaffed. Vehicles are a disaster. Management are inadequate. If you hate it that much......leave. It really is that simple. Life is short. Get out.

Actually, most of our complaints are NOT about the job itself but how the company is being run... no one likes the feeling they are riding on a sinking ship. The Captain is on the intercom proclaiming all is well but the water around your ankles is telling you to locate the life boats...

The bottom line is, some people like their jobs but hate the deluge of spread sheets, unproductive and numerous conference calls, failing equipment, vans that spend more time in the shop than on the road and the embarrassment of wearing flare that says "yes we can" while telling a patient NO WE CANT... I guess the push from upper management to save $10 a day was to pay for the flare... right? SMH

Weak managers hire weak employees. Its a fact that most type A managers hire type b and c workers to keep them down. That is the problem with most dme companies today. Every manager fears for their own job and winds up hiring people who could never threaten to take their job. Some even make you take a psychological assessment test prior to interviewing so they can weed out the really qualified candidates.

LOL true, I have also noticed alot of caps and bold text from upper management which means they have abandoned all email etiquette and are shouting... No wonder we receive multicolored text and other juvenile nonsense from the lip smacking, head bobbing morons in the cubicle hive in N.C. They must be following dear leader's example....

Since we brought up emails.... You also have to love the "stick and carrot" approach by management when publishing "naughty and nice lists" for all to see, for example; which locations met their goals and those who didn't.. as if that will inspire performance from a location that is struggling...

If the public stockholders would not have been screwed to hand the business over to the debtors at our expense then your precious company would have been closed down long ago. The poster is right also considering the result of screwing the old stockholers....the little retail guy..and handing it over the to the debtors...the big wallstreet guys..and not giving the little guy stockholders equity by reorganizing outside of court cost them 25 million of our equity in court costs and resulted in them losing millions in VA contracts they would have otherwise kept if they would not have taken it to court and pushed the little guy stockholders out.

So, losing those VA contracts IMHO they very likely could be out of business in a year or two because all the numbers they crunched pre BK probably included those revenues. The amount of the revenues were very large and ultimately it is just an issue of math and the fact it can take years to recoup from that kinda hit even if you are in good shape. And of course they did not expect or want to lose those VA contracts otherwise they would have never bid on them or have appealed the decisions. So those actions show they did not realize the ramifications of losing all that business by going through BK or maybe they would have been a little nicer to the old Stock holders and been more fair. But, at least we can see that carma exists and there is a God by what happened in my opinion.

Yes, the irony is they would have been in much better shape if they had not gone through BK while reorganizing outside of court allowing them to keep those contracts. Major error in judgement IMHO. If they would have done the right thing and worked with old stockholders with the debtors maybe taking 75% of the equity the stock would have soared. The company would have also made it back on a major exchange like Phil had tried to do way back and everyone involved would have won. Which if people are fair in business, many times can happen. Unfortunately now in the current situation we are looking at a scenario where because of greed everyone will end up suffering and more then likely losing in the end. Overall it is just a matter of making one poor choice after another at the top. Very sad and frustrating for everyone involved outside of the people making the decisions.

I know a lot of locations just got their leases renewed. I know of a few locations that just got new vehicles. Again, not enough, but a few. But, if you want to come on here pretend you know something that you don't. Go ahead. It's your right.

What caught my attention about your post ( other than the defensiveness that inspired your snarky comments ) was what YOU CLAIM to know... so what overpriced office with a view do you occupy in Orlando? Do you get your "inside information" about who received raises and who had their leases renewed from the multiple spreadsheets designed to waste the time of LCM's from getting any real work done at their locations or, maybe Tim told you while the two of you where playing 18 holes for lunch..

Maybe you are part of the problem ( one of the corporate jackasses bringing the company down because you have no clue what it really takes to operate a location and your hubris wont allow you to admit it ) Are you butt hurt because you are taking these 9000+ comments in 5 years personal?
