More cuts













Control. ..blah blah. We've heard that garbage for years on end. Truly,clearly, unequivocally, AZ is on its death bed. Hey,I have a prediction : by 2023, less than 1,000 US employees , still declining revenue, no benefits, no raises. Stock price in the single, yes, SINGLE, digits. So,you people that hang on to the AZ worthless promises year over year, see if this prediction isn't spot on in 2023. It'd gonna be this way every six months now. Paul Hudson, kudos to you. You're the only smart one who knew AZ was in a straight decline. At least someone had the sense to leave! For the rest of us, we all really should update resumes, start networking....our number will be called--- not if, but WHEN.
 












Where else are the cuts coming from then?

People over 50 in support positions, management and non essential sales roles, MAPs, A.D.s, Training as well as administrative positions. You will be told all kinds of numbers because they sometimes include already vacant roles and those taking retirement or being terminated. But the cuts will be deep and wide. Nobody is safe. Nobody.
 
















This layoff was set in motion long ago. As AZ continues to bleed money each quarter, bloodletting will continue. Its sad to see a company that was once great to work for go so far down so fast. Lots of bad decisions and bad investments by leadership has led to this decline. Good luck to all.

Our products may be here in 2023 but we won't be. At least not working for AZ which will be sold eventually or taken over since our stock price is the lowest valuation in Pharma.
 




So I'll admit I was totally blindsided by the announcement...thought it was another sit by the phone and we will let you know. I've been able to make it through the downsizing in the past...But wow an entire division...that is a first. When do you think they knew this was happening? The papers are so in depth..why did they put us through that month of training and who had the final say?

This is how AZ has been operating for years. Where have you been? They do this to keep you working up to the very last minute. Now they are holding out false hope that if you continue to work hard and remain positive that you may land one of the openings in another division. It is all smoke and mirrors. Get out there and network and interview somewhere other than AZ. This ship went down long ago.
