I am sure they will roll out the Q2 bonus plan and goals. Sell more in Q2 than you did in Q1. Not unheard of in sales except for the seasonal drop in the market every Q2. Do it or else! Many reps will be put on short pips and rds will be fired in Q3. What better way to reduce the size of the NBU and not pay out severance in a takeover. Now that’s what I call a leadership team with grit and tenacity.
 






I’m sure the delay in the goals and how reps will be paid on those lofty goals will be blamed once again on the reps. Remember to look in the mirror Kevin, Mark and Perry.

No, you are wrong. It is not K, M, or P's fault. There was a big delay getting the Goals from McKinsey!

Take a look at how your manager reacts to the new goals. The more excited they are, the more likely they will stab their own teams in the back.

These RDs are so afraid for their jobs that they will go to any lengths to trick their teams. It’s like working for some MLM scam now. The cheap rah rah mentality that belies the simple fact that every single one of us is being tricked out of our time, hard work, and income.
 












These Shire ZD's and RD's are spineless... they don't care about us and think we are too dumb to read between the lines when they lie to us about how great the future is here and that the bonus plan is wonderful. You have to be a fool to believe these liars.

ZDs YES RDs no. GC ZD flies around his zone having breakfast meetings with people. Total waste of time. My mgr is working with reps 5 days a week. What do the ZDs do? Nothing productive or motivating but they do have time to fire off knee jerk spreadsheets and surf cafepharma.

This negative post is beyond belief. Just stay positive and sell like no tomorrow and you will have a job with Takeda. Spreading fear is not how to address manageable challenges. We control our own futures.

I like your tenacity and yes technically you are right. No need to be negative. While it might be the end of the line for the nbu, it’s not the end of the line for those in the nbu. We do control our own futures even if they are not here. Life is short, live it to the fullest until your number is called. Good luck to all.
 
























the end of the NBU was announced 2 years ago when Perry put the silver spoon boy with no experience in charge. That was only suppose to be temporary as the AbbVie deal was thought to be done.
Ever since the collapse of the AbbVie deal-Fleming has been desperate to find a buyer. His “leadership team” is nothing more then short term bench warmers to hold a place until thiis monster is sold.
 






When there’s no glass available you have to drink out of the bottle. Time to move on. Worrying is a waste of time.

You will not hear anything of substance and certainly not anything to hang your hat on about your future. Probably typical rah-rah shit and some mid-layer leader telling you how important it is now to work hard and produce. They will keep you guessing and dangle a carrot (or threat) for you to make sure you go to work everyday. When it gets close to closing the deal pay attention. Read analyst reports and then you'll have a better idea, but chances are most will be toast. If you're a longtimer, ride it out and get the severance. Use this time to start your job search though and pull the trigger after you get paid.
