Misery in VBU

the misery in the vaccines business unit is large. no happiness anywhere. outlook dark. if you want to be here more than 1 year good luck. the writing is on the wall. we are all doomed. get out while you can.

hardly anyone in the VBU is the field is happy. Most are on antidepressants. my manger called one of my counterparts Friday and asked why they were not on the call? response from rep was I was at my doctor getting evaluated for depression due to my job and getting a med adjustment. are these jobs really worth it? GSK is one of the worst pharmaceutical organizations to work for with their micromanaging first line leaders.most feel stuck in their roles until they are displaced or let go.

Is anybody at GSK happy? Other than those who got a 17% raise? If GSK wanted to improve morale, upper management should start taking their schizo meds. Incompetent, "woke" fools who aren't capable of running a candy store, much less a global corporation.

But gsk came in ahead of forecast bc of shingrix sales. They won’t lay off.

Just because a product such as Shingrix is above goal- that means zero in terms of job retention. No product sells itself, however Shingrix has no competition and excellent prevention data.
Not only do you need to look at the entire vaccine portfolio sales results, unit heads in pharma have been to to trim the fat and meat in preparation of the coming split. Emma's job depends upon it. Vaccines helped the organization based on profitability for a few years. The years going forward will look quite different. Good luck to all.
