Mirati - oncology?

It will be like Puma, Clovis ect. half your stock depends on the strike price - so that becomes underwater once the drug is dominated by lumarkras. Mirati is bloated and is worth less than half (approx. 2.5 billion tops) (Price is roughly 40-50 bucks a share).. The other half of your stock is vested at 25% in 4 years. So you will make roughly 25k next year at this time. So enjoy that for the pain ahead.

Your high base...once your try to get a real job you are overpaid and untouchable. Dear, Mr. Employer I wat to come home to XYZ company but I make 200k base. No one will welcome you back. Welcome to your new life. A bonafide REJECT.

Get your mind right!
So true. I have had to lie to my last 2 employers and tell them my base was only 120-130, just to get an interview and an offer. When they hear you are making 190-210, they will hang up on you. I am willing to take less when an employer is starting to downsize, because what am I going to do ….. be a walmart greeter just because my base is too high to ever get another job? Crazy, but you have to do it. Taking a decrease is much better than minimum wage.

they are scrounging to hire "the right" reps. The managers have minimal experience and are 3rd string tops. One looks like Sloth from the goonies. Kept slurring and said quality calls per day. That's when I realized this was going to be a micro-managing nightmare. BAAAABBYY RUUTHHHH!!!!

Maybe your numbers suck. I am calling bs on this. Oncology is not a penny pinching industry, maybe its you!

Can someone shed more light on these posts regarding medical team? I'm applying to some of the positions, and want to make sure I know what I am getting myself into before its too late to pull out of the process!!!!

I highly recommend that you take time to do some homework on the medical team before you apply to any positions, we all know people from their previous companies, and there is a reason why they ALL left BMS. People who worked with the medical affairs head and her other med leads have said they were horrible horrible people, a$$ kissers, not strategic but only effective at telling people what to do, and just there to defend each other because no one else would. That’s why when I found out about the level of micromanagement and dysfunction team there, I quickly declined my appliction and took another role…my current cowrokers who spent time at BMS before told me I made a smart decision….

Many sales reps' roles have been deferred due to the PUMA reject effect. The definition of PUMA reject is anyone that has worked at PUMA beyond 12 mo.(including managers). Meaning if they were good they would have landed somewhere else.

PUMA reject effect is in play.

They’re “scrounging” because people know this thing has fleas.

I don't know about telling recruiters/hiring managers that you are at 120-130k but they don't like hearing that you make 180-190 and are wanting 200k. Its the truth! The above poster isn't lying and NO its not just them. Companies are wanting to slow this down I believe.

If you have a long run of success, they will pay. If you think that they will hire you at 130 instead of paying a better candidate 190+ you are sorely mistaken. That is pulling through one more patient. Dont sell your self short.

Deciphera

same thing. Stock now at 35. Owners sold all their stock at 58. They knew they were going to tank.

I worked under Meeks at ipsen. He’s incompetent and add arrogant. If you are a loser and asshole the future is inevitably going to stink

Bravo to the previous director. If you may oblige me the honor.

Scene 3: A few of the good ones that likey joined put out some fires and push adagrasib sales.

Scene 4: PUMA rejects negatively impact major markets with their incessant nagging ways, causing violations and compliance lawsuits. Not to mention zero access the second their names are flashed on an email/business card.

Scene 5: Stock plummets. Sloth emerges from the goonies and famously yells "Hey you guys!"
