Mirati - oncology?

The company is not done - far from it. However, Meek is running out of time and credence. Hickey is not free of criticism either. The organisation has grown fat way too fast. Amgen are laughing right now as they entrench….

A lot can change in 10 months. I look for the stock settle into the mid to low $80s for the next several months.

Drug will likely get approved eventually, but NEVER gonna displace AMGN with the B/C players they've recruited and hired.

Buyout is the investors best hope here. The questions are who, when, and how much?

When i interviewed the company was valued at almost 8 billion. It is valued at 5 now. They would be so lucky if it valued at 1 billion. This will be a 20 or less stock price.
glad i didnt pursue this. feel bad for the manager who left for this experience. ts about to get very ugly and very fast...

You didn’t factor in the Meek effect.

I was 3 days away from joining the company then told a hold on hiring until July / Aug. Who does that to people? I know some people already resigned and now don’t have a job for 5-6 months. Who’s idea was it to hiring when you had to of known this was happening. The RBD that was going to hire me was very inexperienced and the Director above them was a marketing girl who had no clue how to sell. Does anyone else feel the same? C players at this company.

More like D for doomed.

Meek and his crew pulled crap like this at Fergene.

To hire people like this when you are not sure of your PDUFA date shows total incompetence or total disregard for the people. Either way who would want to work there now? The board should take a long look at the management team, again!!

Let's look at Sloth from the goonies with his sportscoat. he bragged all Christmas long about he was at Mirati and big pharma was not safe. He is missing his old company. Sorry Sloth. You aren't welcome back.

Oh and then there are the Puma Rejects. They are so so familiar with what to do know. collect a paycheck and drive this ship into 2 Dolla territory. Puma rejects never cared and likely why they were hired. your resume is your reflection. no one believes your make believe stories either.

This thing is done. Put a fork in it. Meek is as Meek does.

“Trying to figure out what the FDA has in mind here — a tricky business under the best of circumstances — has several members of the analyst community working overtime doing some speculation of their own.

Why? If Lumakras’ OK satisfied the unmet need in lung cancer for what had been an undruggable target, Mirati could be relegated to the distant runner-up position as regulators plod along. That would leave Amgen free to tackle the key market indication solo while Mirati is forced to do more confirmatory clinical work on lung cancer as it follows up in other areas — like the pancreatic cancer indication where it’s offered early but better data over Lumakras.

Some of the analysts on the case here — especially the ones looking for a priority review for a program designated as a “breakthrough therapy” at the agency — note that the PDUFA date doesn’t mean the FDA won’t go ahead and give the treatment an early OK. Richard Pazdur’s team has proven repeatedly that they work on their own schedule when it suits them, though that has a funny way of playing out in the large companies’ favor. The Mirati KRAS program is getting a real-time review under a special agency program anyway. And Mirati is giving every sign imaginable that it’s ready to roll into the market mid-year.

Mirati made the whole situation worse by engaging in a C-suite shakeup last year instead of wrapping up its application earlier, leaving David Meek in charge after his previous company was left in limbo. And now Meek and his team have to suffer as they hustle to prove they’re not too far off track — an ugly prospect for the small outfit, given Amgen’s proven clout in marketing.”
