Migraine

The board was silent for too long. Nice check in question
yeah, if you really want to know if the degenerates of the company think the new plan is working, just ask cafe pharma. I hope this rd is taking notes. I honestly don't know you have time to be here with all the overtime you guys have been working

Just follow the plan. I got a hard kick in the teeth the first few weeks because I thought the gold cards would get me automatic scripts. Found out the hard way a doctor won't write any medication based on coverage. Had to go back and go head to head with them on efficacy and tolerability. Hell, I sold the shit outta them with emotion as well. These past 2 weeks... I've seen 30+ gold cards being handed out from my offices.

Gold cards don't mean shit if you can't sell TXR with clinical data and connect this to the doctor. Hence the reason why so many of us are struggling. Nothing is easy in Pharma, unless you live in Texas.... LOL

Clinical data? You mean that pivotal phase 3 data we were approved on and that is in our PI? I forgot to use that :)

This doesn't sound like an RD posing as a rep at ALL (eye roll).

If your docs didn't already know the clinical significance after you selling the same thing for years now, there's an even bigger issue there lol. Or maybe you just stopped selling with insanity like they are grilling us to do (cough SE zone). Or maybe your zone realized they should stop giving you loads of busy work to guess hypothetical numbers, so you actually had time to do things that make you money. Being different is a good thing. But being annoying as hell will fail this sales force.

What I want to know is why the hell they are asking us for these arbitrary numbers and gold card spreadsheets when they literally have al of this data sitting in front of them. Taylor sent it out once, and then never again? If you aren't going to share that incredibly relevant information with us, fuck off asking me to pull some number out of my ass. I have calls to make.

They say it would be too distracting for us to have. Way more distracting than all these random trackers and ridiculous rhetoric about "pulling gold cards" from reps........... I'm sure.

Your corporate scare tactics are weak and just further evidence of the way you try to sell us (reps) the way you (try) to force us to sell our docs. Your model is old school and outdated. That's why you wanted people new to pharma. Cheap and don't know any better. Well now we've been out there for four years, and we have learned a few things.

Treat us like adults, please. Don't filter out all the bad stuff or fluff it to make it look good when it isn't.

For instance, looks like Q1 wasn't quite up to par. THEY can blame it on coverage, high deductibles, etc in their press release, but yet when we said the SAME thing to our managers this January, last January, etc, that was not an acceptable excuse. Do you know how de-motivating that is to us as reps? To work hard, be told it's not good enough, and then for the company to use the same "cop out"? Certainly breeding a lot of trust here.

But remember, Supernus is "OUR" company, not just one we work for.

Well said. I couldn't agree more.

5 stars-we all agree

Rest assured if you are up 4% at the end of Q2 no one is going to care about your trackers or busy work. But my guess is you aren't there. And hate to say it but complaining about them and wallowing in pity is probably the reason why. The plan they give us is a bit intense, old school, and not super common sense. But it works. You're better off blindly following it than getting stuck in the weeds of how annoying it all is. But hey that's just me, I'm happier being successful while doing some stuff that feels silly than being the super smart guy saying everything management does is wrong.

agreed. And also, the street didn't think we had a sub par Q1. Stock has never been higher. Maybe you complainers actually don't have everything all figured out, eh? Maybe you don't have all the information. Maybe even though you don't understand or agree with everything that is done, it actually does work. Real easy to play arm chair quarterback from your little territory you work 4 hours a day for a 6 figure comp plan. Suck it up or move on

Did you basically just call yourself an unintelligent robot? I'm actually doing really well right now, but will absolutely not ever be okay with irrelevant tasks and insanity. Maybe that's the extent of your ambition in life, but there are much better avenues of success than being treated like a child and micromanaged. To each their own!

What is your definition of working? I recall Supernus touting they had a Billion (with a B) product in Trokendi XR. Your on pace to perform well below that measure.
Your plan has already failed.

My definition is a list of objective measures: This company has been one of the top 3 companies in the entire tech industry in North America in growth over the past 2 years. This company's stock has exploded since going public. A $100,000 investment 5 years ago is worth about $660,000 today. I will take that kind of "failure" any day.
You smell like a jaded Shire troll

Short of $1B is short of $1B. I believe the other measures you have listed are what you refer to as "smoke screens" to your reps. At this point you are set to do $330M in sales this year with this product. Four years in the product it at full maturity and you are 1/3rd to goal. Time for you to start polishing up your resume.

Wow you are in for a big surprise. I'm unsure if TXR will reach 1B but the growth this product is experiencing right now is absolutely nuts. While I don't agree with everything my management does I do think the GC program was genius and my docs are writing more because there are no issues plus they are writing on indication finally.
