The Brits may try to force the white knight scenario with GSK, just like the French did with Sanofi buying the much larger Aventis instead of Novartis. They won't want to see that many jobs lost right after Brexit. GSK would dominate that merger also, if it were to happen, but they may have a spot for Pascal.

Look at the aftermarket activity. NVS sharply up 3.65%. AZ down sharply 3.69%. Could just be circumstantial or could be the beginning.

It depends on how many closest to him rely on his staying to keep their cushy jobs. Only when the Board members feel threatened will they take action against him or an inside coup of executives backstab him into submission. There is absolutely nothing us peons can do about it.

believe it or not, the group of C-class executives is relatively small globally and they all know each other. It is sort of an elitist club and once you're in, you're set for life. They are all well networked.

whatever you want, wish for, expect...whatever makes good,sound,wholesome business sense....do not expect that fromAZ. You're headed down a long ,unending road of strife and disappointment. It sucks, but a lot of truth in that. AZ's best days, ie any shining moments akin to someone's finest hour, was like a decade ago. How many can truthfully say AZ is better now vs in the past? I'd bet a few idiots might buy into that, but the rest of us know better.
