its a great job if you dont mind not having a future in the position you are working! I love it for now!
Eventually all Pharma reps will go from 1 contract to the other w/ down time and lay-offs in between! No matter what your numbers were and who you are blah blah, its never easy getting another Pharma job...just way too many x reps out there! I have been through 4 rep jobs in 6 yrs...the process is getting old. After this one, its time to do something else!!!

CSO hire young with typical young level salaries. CSO sometimes hire older but still with a young level salary. Both insulting and downright impossible to live for older reps. Unless you have a spouse who can pull in a substantial income from somewhere else I would not and could not consider it. Depressing for many.
 












Hey this is the best gig going...What a joke..Pay attention I do not get any signatures only put in detail only. Manager never says a peep. This leads to a perfect inventory count all the time..What don't you get. Stay home and drink.

I can tell you first hand that that is not the case with the AZ contract!
 












Mostly older experienced reps are hired. They have over 10 years with pharma. Part time with merck / PSS is 31,000. small bonus, no car, car allowance, computer, no benefits.

4 products. training is tough..2 weeks and must get 95% on tests. fail 2 tests, and u r out.

Hey dumb shit. This job is for someone looking for a part time job with a lot of flexibility.
I can call my own hours.
I just have to make just 24 calls per week.
I am able to meet my serious commitments in life.
The extra money is nice as it allows us to save for colleges, take extra long weekends in nice resorts, can't wait for skii season, and spend quality time with kids. If you are looking to support self or a family, you are in the wrong place.
