Good question. Given the small chance he doesn't get whacked, he'll have his job related content still available with a selective cleanse, while preventing Lilly snooping after the fact if he's clipped as expected.

Otherwise, he'd have to explain why his laptop was totally toasted while still employed if he completely fries the hard drive.
 






OP here - My meeting is in the morning on Wednesday. Don't people who get fired get it in the afternoon? Sorry to over-analyze but now i am scared and am hoping for a glimmer of hope.
 






Everyone is assuming you will be fired. My first question is have you committed expense fraud or call fraud? If so, I highly recommend Short term disability. Get to a doc by tuesday and have him give you an excuse to go on medical leave. You simply call HR and tell them your going on short term disability. They will request a note from your doctor and then will turn you over to short term disability.This will buy you 3 months and then they can cut you loose. But in the meanwhile you collect pay. Its better than a swift kick out the door.
Or you can just roll over and play dead. Good luck!
 












Don't admit to doing anything wrong. Anything that is unclear is simply a misunderstanding. They will likely still fire you, but without cause they may offer you some kind of package as incentive to 'move on'. Take it.
 












A similar thing happened to a buddy of mine, he has items saved for years as well as taped conversations of his meetings with management and HR. remember HR is not your friend!
 












Better cowboy up and go to your meeting OP. get it over with and become free! Act confused, inept, maybe you entered calls / expenses incorrectly, because ineptitude can be coached but blatant lies are separable. That's ur best hope at this point! Why prolong the agony anyway? U will get unemployment if u don't get a package. Just show up and eat ur shit sandwich! Maybe god has another plan for you waiting in the wings. Your dm and ad are done with you just accept it whether it's deserved or not. It's a dirty game, don't take it personal. The next chapter of your career is just around the corner. Update please after your meeting I look forward to the blow by blow report!

OP here - basically I am being scrutinized for expenses and utilization of my company card. I am also being charged with faking calls due to my partner not hearing customers mention my name.

No matter what evidence they say they have...lie and don't admit to anything. Then start looking for another job as the discipline process will begin. 99% of reps admit to falsifying a call...admit to it and you will be terminated
