I'd like to comment on this thread. I have absolutely no dog in this fight. However, I get the impression (correct me if wrong) that management is intimidating employees. I understand most posters come to vent but in these tough economic times with pharma/lab/etc. losing their jobs - all employees are scared.

From some of the professional posts, I've seen some very intelligent individuals with great ability to get their point across in a few words. I on the other hand am much too wordy.

Eventhough employees are the backbone of every and any company, they are totally expendable against profit margins. There are very few owners or majority stockholders in any business who put their emplyees in higher regards than personal profits. Those are the ones who make a difference in your life and the world.
