Merck/Pfizer and J&J both have issues with patients losing toes on SGLT2s. Pfizer will still hand J&J their ass. Merck is just going along for the ride. Even if FARXIGA proves to reduce CV death and CV events RW & SW will shit the bed again. Novartis is rumored to be interested in BRILINTA, but other bidders are driving up the price.
