The home office employees are softer than the sheets I currently sleep on ! The field reps have a level of commitment and toughness that they could never understand!

There are employees outside of the home office!! There is NO testing requirement for field reps!

Hoping this Biden vaccine mandate dies! Otherwise we field sales reps will be asked to vax or test, there's no getting around it unfortunately. It's been a good sign that mgt hasn't pushed us like many other pharma's have, I don't believe they will do it unless forced.

Certainly hope you're right. If push comes to shove, I can see weekly testing for field sales, but at this point I seriously doubt AbbVie will ever mandate any vaccine or booster for any group of employees (or they already would have), regardless of any Biden/OSHA mandate.

I feel the same. Most Midwest pharma leadership met early on to determine rules for capacity limits, working from home, etc. That's why you saw Eli Lilly, Abbvie, and other companies do everything the exact same during the start of the pandemic. AbbVie seems to have broken away from our neighbor companies on the mandate issue.

We will have to see the covid cases/deaths when winter really hits us. Extremely high cases and a concerted effort by the media might be the final push for a mandate.
