Mandatory vaccination coming

What's the latest on the VAX mandate? Anybody heard anything?
Nothing, I noticed in one of the Huddle meetings that our VP intentionally sped through a question about a mandate. It was something along the lines of "Why is AbbVie behind on vaccination mandates/guidelines compared to other companies", and it was quickly covered by text saying "The pandemic and our response to it is continually evolving. We continually share the opinions and feedback you provide to the groups tasked with making these decisions." Sounds like nothing to me. This was back in late September.

Yeah, that for sure sounds like a dodge - let's bury that question kind of answer. However, maybe their looking at what OSHA just announced this morning - new deadline of January 4th for large employers (100 or more) with hefty fines for non-compliance. Weekly testing for unvaxed employees checks the compliance box, I think that's the way Abbvie will go if this Biden mandate doesn't get overturned in the courts.

Interviewing for a position in Women's Health next week, does Abbvie require weekly testing for unvaccinated field reps? What are the vaccine requirements? Thanks, honest replies only please.

No, I'm a tenured rep with 10 yrs exp. Recruiter also has me set up for a GI Immunology position, Humira I'm assuming. Not sure about the Women's Health position, but wanted to know about vaccine requirements at Abbvie going forward, and overall culture there right now. I guess the pension is gone? Thanks in advance!

Yes no more pension for new hires

What's left of the immunology GI role? Just Humira right? Then what? When is patent expiry?

Says who? We are already compliant with the executive order that doesn't even seem like it will become law by the end of the year.

Compliance = all employees must be vaccinated, or testing weekly, or have been granted medical or religious exemption. How is Abbvie compliant? Do they require vaccination? Do they require weekly testing? I don't believe the mandate says 70% vaxed and your good, my understanding it's 100%.

Do you even work here? AbbVie requires weekly testing already if you aren't vaccinated. This has been the case since June. We are also 90% vaccinated per recent reporting from leadership.
