Why were they doing calibration in beginning of December?

Can anyone give a serious answer to this? Giving rep ratings and promotions based on Oct and November-ish numbers is absurd. It's BS to give YEARLY appraisals based on less than a year.

And what if you have Bose adjustments that won't take place until the end of the quarter?

So when the final Q4 numbers (scrubbed and correct doctors included) come out, if a rep that didn't get put up for a CE (based on inaccurate Oct numbers) finishes higher than the rep in the region that did get a CE (whose numbers have fallen since Oct) then you're saying management will go back and consider that rep for the CE?

I don't care if the other rep loses their CE based on December numbers if they won't go back and give it to the rep who did finish with the highest numbers.
