We are truly in trouble, our leaders hired Joel Brandon whom I found out was incompetent at Elan and was let go at his last job with Tolmar, Inc. because of an unorganized launch of their drug. Do we do background checks? How did he get through this interview process? I know a rep from Tolmar that told me this guy had no clue.
 


















So did anyone get screwed over with their "new" territory? Minimal overlap from my previous territory, first office is a good 45 min commute and at least 1 overnight a week. I will no longer live in my territory. Thanks Mallinckrodt!

I call BS. Thought it was a non-negotiable requirement that reps live in the new territories.
 


















It's just the beginning ....if you have ever worked for a company where ZS associates are involved with a re-alignment, re-tooling etc. the outcome is never very good. The company advertises many times a week in USA today in a full page add about how they have helped pharmaceutical companies "streamline" their business to become more profitable. Many times they have tamped up a company only to re-align them less than a year later. Guess haji the company often keeps as the rep? Usually the contract reps.

COVIDIEN is becoming pharma but without any of the old pharma perks- like merit raises and nicer cars for award winners. This company is a joke. Now you want me to work for seven more years and hit my plan just to hit my big fat 10% pay raise in salary. Who are they kidding? They are kidding the young college grads paying them 50k and sending them through the nicey nicey training program. How are they going to respond when the surgeon clamps on the lobar hilum with n ultr handle and hears multiple handle cracks? "Oops sorry dr. I thought that was my chewing gum I heard snapping". What a joke. Nd the saddest part is we are dealing with human lives here over upper management screwing the feet on the street to make Wall Street and she selves rich.

Heard Apple is coming out with a new app. it's going to be called "I work for Covidien, please call me with any job offer". Sad part is theory can't launch it until our q2 numbers cone out so it could be a while.
