Lots of postings up for statin/cardiovascular jobs...any details?

The other az respiratory reps got their own rooms. not sure about training but I am almost positive we leave Sunday and come back Friday evening. They had training in DE though.

I was told by hiring DM we leave Monday and come back late on Thursday. It would be nice to confirm this, given we don't have much time remaining.

Also, I HOPE we get our own rooms, but just because AZ direct reps didn't have roommates, doesn't mean we won't... Does anyone know this for sure?

I agree, although it sounded like the poster was saying the AZ contract resp team through Publicis got their own rooms... I thought it was 4 days as well, I will try to confirm tomorrow through HR...I would rather stay in a cheaper hotel and have my own space rather than some upscale place that we can't even enjoy because we are so busy and have to share a room...but I guess I shouldn't complain as I am so fortunate to have this opportunity.

You know I used to hate having to share a room and I'd cringe at the thought of it, but you know, it's not really that bad. Your roommate probably is feeling the same way you do too. Think about all of us who had roommates while dorming in college and we had no idea who they were the first day. It's not the end of the world if we have to share for one week.

Amen to that....all they are hiring anymore are DMs with less than 5 years experience anyhow. Sad because in this day, they should be looking to get experienced RMs and DMs in place who have a ton of hiring and counseling of reps in the past.

I had a friend in Chicago who has hired over 500 reps in his careeer passed over and a guy who was a DM for a year and had 30% turn over got the job because he knew the RD. Now that is just not smart for the company.

If you're talking about the AZ contract then you are very wrong about the DM hired. Not only has he been a DM, but a specialty DM and a regional. And why the hell would this guy need to have hired over 500? Is he that bad and all his reps left? I don't know how you can see that as a positive.

I was called by a recruiter last Sunday, interviewed on Wednesday afternoon, and offered the job that Wednesday night.
Yeah, the pay isn't the best. Compared to unemployment and staying home with my kids vs the salary I'm getting and cost of daycare I'm not making out all that well. It is what it is. Oh well, it's a job, for however short, or long, it may go. And it's not rocket science.

The time frame is correct per my manager as well. Not sure about roommates though.

I agree... However, this is not camp or college. We are professional adults and this is a job, working for a major corporation. I think it's a bit ridiculous to have roommates. In the grand scheme of things, it only saves pennies. With that said, I can handle it. But, fortunately, I think most companies are back to realizing these points (not to mention the potential issues that could arise with forcing strangers to share a room and bathroom together as part of their job training).

Ok that is so unprofessional for a company to do. Either way if the job is filled or still in progress of hiring, the recruiter should respond to email or phone msg and let a candidate know what the situation is. I made my call and emailed on Friday and still no word back. I was even more suprised because my references and background had been conducted and then nothing...
