List of funny things about this company

18. We sell a drug that patients DO NOT LIKE!! I hear daily how this drug will not stay in the patients upper lip!! It falls out. Doctors do not have time to deal with a complicated drug that patients keep calling their office about, especially one that is expensive. NYSTATIN WORKS!! There is a need for ORAVIG in 2% of patients, the ones who have a severe consistent case!! Why do we even sell this drug??

I hear that RP feels the reason why there is so much turnover in the company is because people cant handle working a full day. He thinks people are looking for a 10-2 rep job. This is not true. I for one work a full hard day in the field. It's the lack of respect and distrust that has me looking. It sucks because I dont want to hop from job to job but I also know this is not the place for me. Too bad. Worst company I have ever worked for.

I completely believe this and completely agree, and would guess the majority of the sales force feels this way as well. It has nothing to do with working a full day, but the lack of respect and the complete distrust of the sales force. If RP really feels that it is because reps don't want to work a full day I think he would be shocked to know how many of us are looking for jobs OUTSIDE of pharma just to get away from this hellhole. I would rather take a cut in base pay and be tied to a time clock rather than continue to be treated like shit here.

20. I made over 100k here my first year as a rep here last year(not in NY or TX). I am laughing my a** to the bank so I thought it would fit in the subject.

That is probably not funny to the losers who constantly complain about how bad it is. I do however find all the complaining amusing. It is always easier to blame everyone and everthing for your failures rather than look in the mirror. GUESS WHAT??? All the reps at Strativa are selling the same products. So even though they are very challenging to move... the talented reps find a way to do so( insert here the comments about bigger markets and better coverage in certain areas make it unfair). To make good money you simply have to be the least crappy(rep, dm, rd).... if you dont like that then go elsewhere.

I agree with what you are saying. I think this board is a way for people to vent frustrations.
I for one am a top performing rep. My base is ok and bonuses have been great. However, I feel this is the poorest ran company I have ever worked at. Only if they could trust us reps. making 100,000 a year is great. But I would easily take a pay cut to not be treated like a baby. When I first joined here the DM sold me on the fact that they are not the typical pharma company. That fact is that we are worse. The chasing sig game and not letting your reps sell is horrible. Call panal is horrible, wish washy decision making every quarter. Look at the list from all the posts above. This company is not going anywhere. I am not sure if different management would make a difference in the long term future but I do know they would have less turn over. "Horrible place to work". And I for one am not the type of person who can get frustrated very easily. So I say that phrase with meaning.

thank you almighty one

If you want your business to flourish, you must keep your employees happy and motivated first. They are the face of the this company and if they are not happy it will reflect onto the customers. If the sales force is frustrated, then EVERYTHING will become frustrated. If one rep complains, so what. If the majority of the sales force complains.....well, there probably is a real problem. Also, how much money does strativa spend re-hiring and re-training people!! No job is perfect, but this is suppose to be a sales job. It feels like a sample delivery job.

Hmmmm. I seem to know a few reps that made well over 20k bonus last trimester alone that are looking elsewhere. For some of us it's not all about the almighty dollar. It's about a little respect. News flash, if you're good you can make 100k at quite a few places and not be treated like an infant that can't be trusted.

wow.... your complaining and whining sounds just like an...... wait for it..... AN INFANT! Leave then. I have worked at some places that were worse... some a little better. remember.... THEY CALL IT WORK FOR A REASON..... make as much money as you can when your here then move on..... no one is getting a gold watch from strativa 30 years from now

I didn't say I WAS LEAVING. I just said don't be so quick to say that it's only the "underperforming" territories that are whining about shitty working conditions. I think it's pretty much agreed that everyone here is looking, that's a no-brainer. Yes, a paycheck is a paycheck and is better than being unemployed. This is still a good industry to be in. But I bet that home office could increase rep productivity and results by a HUGE amount if they would just lay off the BS rules for a few minutes and see what happens when, as they put it earlier this year, the "shackles were off" and we could run our own territories. And before you remind me that last quarters numbers sucked - it takes more than 4 weeks (that was before they instigated the TOP 30 crap) to see any change in results.

19. Why are we keeping expansion reps and underperforming territories...thats a funny one

Because the expansion reps sell Megace ES you dumb ass. If the "tenured" reps were smart they would have asked to be transferred over to the expansion territories when the company opened them up. Obviously Oravig and Zuplenz aren't doing shit for the bottom line. An "underperforming" Team 1 rep is still brining in more money for the company than the majority of Team 2 territories. That doesn't mean they are better reps, that's not what I am saying. I am just stating the financial reality.

19. Why are we keeping expansion reps and underperforming territories...thats a funny one

Expansion reps are the only ones keeping this ship afloat and alive for a possible buyout. I am an expansion rep that has performed at the top of the nation since I have been here, but I still dont like the bull$hit rules and policies that RP wants to enforce. I just keep collecting my paycheck and pocketing the $20,000 in bonuses that I have gotten over the past two quarters.

20. The fact that reps who dont get scripts are going to get more bonus and are ranked higher nationally than reps that got scripts but lost share. Plus, we are going to bonus some people, team 1, $4000+ for 1 script of Zuplenz and Oravig.

19. The fact that PT was a trainer and now a manager is hilarious. He is one of the creepiest people I have ever met.
Sooooooo....true! What a dick! If he spent more time training and less time playing on his blackberry and insulting people, he may have have been.....nahhh he still would have sucked!
