Everyone will know if they are in or out by Mid January and if you are over 49.5 years old without a diverse bone in your bod, you already know you may be gone. Especially if you received the early retirement letter last year, (everyone that received the letter is outa here). Get your resumes ready this week if you need to continue to work. Get prepared for the end of DR 5 year plan that started 4.3 years ago. Good luck Lilly Old Fart Family.

Bottom line all the Baby Boomers will be gone, Reps, Managers, Directors. This will be one of the Biggest Upsetting Purges yet. So sad but be glad the Circus will end for you soon. Be thankful that the markets and everything nationally from a financial stand point is actually very good and this will help the 50 plus year olds find a new job. Bad thing is you will make between $30 to $50K less any place you go....and for some that have been around a very long time 25 years, you may make $75 to 100K less. This is the exact reason why Lilly (has to do this), along with all major other Pharma Companies. In fact all Pharma companies in 2018 and 2019, will absolutely be going thru the same Krappy Purge. Honestly, someone must know what’s going on in the DBU!!! Please tell us what you know! How many more reps will lose their jobs!

I'm sick of this twisted waiting game. No reps in DBU are feeling appreciated or have any desire to work their butts off right now. No one wants to be pounding the pavement discussing products - we want to know what's going to happen. All the answers on here are bs lately but seriously does anyone know if it's still a 20% cut in DBU despite all changes? Does anyone know anything?

That is why they gave out so many “Did Not Meet Expectations” this year! Lilly does this any time they are downsizing to use it as an excuse to get rid of whatever rep they want!!!! A majority of our sales are due to whether or not our products are on formulary. Patients don’t want to pay $400-$500/month for the 2nd Lowest Branded Copay!! Also, do you REALLY believe BRT data is accurate?!

This cruelty will hit Lilly in the butt when they are hit with age discrimination lawsuits!
 












Sorry, but when they accepted the VERP package, they signed away their rights to sue for age discrimination. HR made sure they protected the mothership.
I’m not talking about the employees that took the VERP! I’m talking about the employees that didn’t but will be reallocated next Thursday! Lilly wants to get rid of them all!! If they didn’t take the VERP, they will be shown the door next Thursday! It is those reps that will sue Lilly!
 








Hahaha my first time on here. As a millennial myself all you baby boomers make me LAUGH OUT LOUD (LOL). Yea guess what you’re right. Your experience isn’t worth jack when the product isn’t on formulary. Products in DBU sell themselves regardless of “exp” of rep. Haha the constant “over 50 are out” “white male are out” “high salary are out” music to my ears. Keep whining snowflakes.
