Layoffs!

Which part? Hospital folks getting their calls today. Respiratory retail has to be next.

Yes, hospitals only. And it’s been in the works for a year... not exactly a surprise.

The only reason they keep that division is to keep promoting TF for no reason.

Hoping once we get some actual leadership hired, he gets shown the door...

Keep your TF to the MFn there.

TF is the worst leader I have ever dealt with in my entire career. Zero empathy. He does not care about people, only himself, his title and his next promotion. So many incredible people will leave in the next few months because of him. He has destroyed the trust and culture. So sad!

Not one respiratory position posted on job sites. Interesting.

What’s the deal with the apparent hiring freeze in respiratory? All the open positions were pulled from the site & I know for a fact that they were not all filled because the one in my region is still vacant but the job posting was taken down along with all the others. The NAS listings are still posted though.

Not hard to figure out. The Respiratory retail team hasn’t paid for themselves in years. Next on the chopping block. That entire division is just dead weight, not because of the people, but because of sh!t products, sh!t management, and a completely ineffective, entitled sh!t Managed Markets team. One only needs to look at MM failures to see how the decline of Sunovion came about.

Still no travel arrangements to the upcoming respiratory POA. Hard to imagine this is due to negligence, oversight or poor planning. Here we go!
Who even plans these meetings anymore? For the last year meetings have been planned last minute and are so low budget it's offensive. I know Psych and Neuro are still pulling in money so where is it? Virtual meetings and NSM was in 3 different locations, no gift, no evening events. Maybe they started with layoffs in the home office and we just haven't heard of them.

mileage logs for “IRS” and by the way- send a copy to your manager. GPS is on the way “to make IRS reporting easier.” Riiiiight. Culture was wonderful here for years. It is so completely gone my head is still spinning. They used to try to keep us here (PRISM 5 year pay out, actually good meetings, etc) but now they are actively trying to get us out. Now they say if you don’t like it (mileage) than you can leave. If you work here and aren’t looking fo another job, you are going down with the ship. It’s sinking hard and only gaining speed. RIP old company. I should have left with Chuck & Gish left after mysterious circumstances.

It looks to me like a reorg for the respi team. Not filling TS vacancies, but filling the NAS vacancies. And the "we were wrong" speech about calling on Pulms, IM and most of PCP's - "we messed up and should have been in LTC a long time ago". You don't need 12 MBA's to figure that one out! It took almost 18 months before this realization - embarrassing. But, when upper management knows everything and want's no feedback from the people that are actually in the field - even though many of the top reps were already working the hell out of LTC for several months. No input from those on the field, just endless busywork, tracking virtually everything. Meanwhile, the reps sit by and take everything that is dished out because they need more metric.

Toxic top-loaded management ruins companies and it bleeds downward because of a gross lack of management 101 skills.
