Layoffs

I'm speaking of the rep role. The vivus folks are on a high horse as if people are dying to sell a $150 weight loss drug to join the team. Heed this - When a contract company s hired to push products it is a "no brainer" that CONFIDENCE in the space and the molecule is iffy. Go ahead managers and sales leaders give it to me all you want but it is what it is. good luck y'all. wish it was better for your salesforce….

Hey turd, Qsymia has the lowest retail of the 3. Contrave is smart trying to capture share with a deep discount to start. Their med sucks but they are being aggressive with the discount. The most anyone pays for Qsymia is $126/mo. M/C, though not great, is getting better. All reps will be Vivus employees in 6 months. Every company has issues. Reps for big PHARMA complain and hate their jobs and their companies. Here, I have seen reps treated much better than big PHARMA. It is what it is. The med is good and except for the cost objection, doctors like Qsymia. That's better than trying to sell a piece of crap drug like so many of my friends have to do.

I agree with above poster about Qsymia being a great drug but the managers have been dangling roll over like a carrot and when numbers slump its used to threaten that you won't be able to move over to Vivus!

its a one man band in all geographies. Something most people know in this business is called increase the share of voice (Takeda has it we don't ).
With that said if your product was so great you would have been bought when you were overvalued at 20 bucks plus a share.
not for nuthin its a hard sell for the product and the company...

You keep thinking that everyone will be vivus employees in 6 months. Not going to happen.

Put the pay no more than $75 for recommended dose and $100 for top dose and watch drug take off. Xtra rxes will make up for less per rx. Need to try something new. The cost is only objection we ever get. Why is that so hard to understand

Any changes or commercials coming our way. Sad as how we launched the best drug and have no support from management . They wonder why stock is down and why even spend the money to move to NJ if you can't fix for 2 years what's broken.

Q is priced high with the pymt program in place to other companies. vivus didn't invent this and has no billion dollar R&D program. in order to make money its units on the board.

Come on DM's what ya got...

I just want to know whose bright idea to not have copay cards available for next year when our competition has price for 70 and we can't even give out the +125 cards. I yeah somehow this will be reps fault. Why dont they do automatic ship when new item is coming out. I don't even want managers saying you should have ordered early when I just got here!!!

bossman say to bring in dem burgers and fries from Mcdonalds and then say this what the plumpers b eatin' ….transition…the dollar menu is like our copays but instead of just .99 we be 99.99. whats da dealio doc. yo you knows me that i keeps on scrippin' get me some scrips
