I still can’t believe they kept the deadwood FRMs. They are USELESS!! They have NOT contributed anything positive to our region yet and it’s been 10 months. My God, they have to go too!!

Rumor leaking in home office is that right after first of the year FRM's will be cut in half, Hospital team will be completely gone and only a slight reduction in TBM's. TBM positions that will be cut immediately are Aristada territories with volume sales that do not cover the cost of having a rep in the territory (salary, bonus, benefits, car...). I'm hearing that is about 14% of total Aristada territories and once the TBM in those territories are let go that geography will be absorbed by surrounding TBM's. Once those are cut then there will be some very small further reductions.

On the other side of the house Vivitrol will get a very small increase in rep head count. In areas where sales volume is extremely high yet ecosystem is not yet fully developed. Been told the algorithem they are using right now shows an increase of 12 to 15 Vivitrol TBM's and 1 Vivitrol DBL right after the first of the year.

Can anyone in home office confirm or give additional information? Thanks.

You are absolutely correct!!! More lay offs are coming 2020. Despite what they are trying to tell you in meantime.
 












Good company. Curious why expanding now when just had layoffs. May present a better picture for investors for KAM, HBM and FRM roles to be filled. TBMs should be filled.
 






There won’t be a need to lay off any Aristada reps. There will be a mass exodus after Dec 27th when Intra-Cellular gets the approval for their new schizophrenia drug. A TON of Alkermes employees will be leaving this shit show and heading to sell a drug that actually works.

Why would we hire any of your Aristada reps? You have had fantastic managed care coverage virtually everywhere and your reps have been unable to get any share of volume. I'm thinking we will be staying away from any of your reps that may apply.
 






Well...that whole lay off thing worked beautifully didn't it? We can't manage to close above twenty while the Dow just moved up over 100 points in the last week. If this is how we do in a bull market (and in the middle of an opiate epidemic) what will our stock look like when the bears come back to Wall Street?
 






Back in the 60s Jimmy Breslin wrote a book called "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight". If it weren't for the copy-write laws that would be a great title for a study of the management here at Alkermes!
