Has your PIP at Actavis set you free yet? Is your 18th month there looming large on the horizon? This outfit used to call it a WIP but that "work improvement plan" was too hopeful and WIP was too physically (accurate) descriptive (not to be confused with WOP or upper management, another thing entirely) that they changed it to PIP. WIP was deceptive with that implication that if one worked more effectively the victim may be able to remain employed. The PIP implies that improved performance may allow one to remain and since performance improvement is contingent upon increasing sales, remaining would be impossible with that product line. Kind of like twisting in the wind. Once PIPped, one becomes the target of jokes and the reason for district failure. Ain't that a pip? But it takes the heat off the DM temporarily.

We have just been chosen the laughing stock of the pharmaceutical business for the third year in a row. We have been analyzed as having the worst products, management, lack of R&D, and overall poorest field execution according to the powers that be. Let us all reflect on who we really are as a company. Liars, cheaters,misfits,and slugs. We should all have a BIG laugh knowing that we are the lowest of the low. I for one believe the medical community when they tell me get lost, your company has nothing to offer but the best generic line money can buy. We have deluted ourselves in believing we are anything other than sheist on a stick.
I really think that distinction goes to Jazz Pharmacduticals.
