Guy Padbury is an awesome scientist and manager.
He also managed to recruit some solid senior managers (ED and AVP level) from Amgen. Seems Merck is in a good spot.

Lol, no doubt you classify yourself as one of those “solid managers” he recruited...many have a different opinion than your glowing accolades

Perhaps it’s the change that bothers you?
These folks are truly world class scientists, capable managers and good people.
