Job Offer

well, I did finish my last interview with the big guy last week (JG). I was TOLD I was GETTING ......127K. Trust me - this is a pay cut. The company has undervalued US a little, but several of my colleagues just said "No Thank You" and went back to selling our IFN. its a little weird. Does anyone else think so? I thought these were the Big Boys? I thought they had a little reserve currency to afford talent? I guess not.

Has anyone gotten a rejection and how long did it take after you interviewed to get the offer? Did it come from the hiring manager or HR? Interviewed last week and haven't heard anything yet.

And don't believe the hype about Gilead and Hep C. Yes, they look good right now, but there are many factors weighing that play into what is going to happen. Do your research.

Only extensive research will help one see what's really coming their way from fierce competition to CIA's to just plain ole being the bad guy. Only problem is that you'll are the whipping boys -so sorry.

offers for the rest of country coming monday

gilead has a very weird way of interviewing - the hiring mngrs do not set up the interview with info regarding territory or position - and recruiter has no time to give any info - just set the appointment

face to face with mngr hiring for allentown hcv- would not want to work for him - did not get second interview - had some kind of attitude about coaching - good luck with him - big pharma all the way - he from big pharma - stays with big pharma

Brian V right? If so, he did have an attitude.

see we can read people :)

that's him - no thank you - struck me very odd that coaching would be taken personally by a direct report in the field - it's part of the job - but the attitude that came across was kind of hostile as if he took whatever happened in the past personally and is now reflecting on new hires confirming that they would not take coaching on a personal level ---

no thank you - hostile attitude......................................pretends to be nice - micro manager in the making - good luck with that

he also wanted reps with experience and relationships - hate to tell him - if one is successful in sales - they will be successful selling ice to eskimos and identify how and why they need the ice - and will work harder for the business - in my humble, coachable opinion :)

oh yes the mgrs here need to focus on coaching. what a joke!!! the reps are all experienced. the one person that needs coaching are the idiot srd's who cannot understand that the mgrs are idiots and that this is not primary care. mgmt has a primary care mentality that ruins the sales forces across the board.

You forget...the lying begins at the top with the senior vice president, commercial ops for north America, down to the senior director for field operations way down to the small fry (yes RA, they did call you that) the marketing director for HCV (after all, you did start out as a contract employee working for SGP as a HCC under JM ( a good DM in NY) . The lying continues down to the managers. What else do you expect - its a corrupt organization with an expensively bought drug. Good Luck Gilead. Oh, thanks TP for your leadership and your lack of lies.

Kendra please don't be corrupted. That smell you smell is not you....Its them.

Oh yes, the gov is working out the final details on your CIA ( I have sources - trusted sources) and yes don't ever trust your boss (RA - is he Polish? I have some good friends that are Polish. No, he couldn't be. Must have legally changed his name. Polish people don't lie.)
