That is so ridiculous. The people who can't hack it here, have no idea how to handle a little direction and just decided not to work. These managers are the hardest working group I have ever seen. This company is growing and all the hard work will pay off.

Yeah, like the last time "company stock" was issued? How well did that work out? How many people lost money when they bought them and never got it back when the company went bankrupt?

Many of us are wondering how the same management team stays in place every time new venture capital bails them out. Trust me, we are all looking.
 












Atherotech's "value proposition" is supposed to be expanding the VAP as much as possible into as many offices as we can and 'saving' lives. No one does more to keep the VAP out of offices and shut down the idea of opening accounts more than him.
 






How on earth is this man a Regional VP? He has no leadership skills and has barely managed front line sales people let alone managers. The problem with this company is that we have absolutely no leadership to even show all these new managers who have only been a sales rep with this company how to lead. How in the hell does Rod not see that he has 3 completely clueless leaders that have no talent, patience or people skills.
They need to hire all new VPs and start over. Pathetic

Whatever…….keep drinking the cup of company bullshit. Let's change it from micromanagement to hand holding if that makes you feel better. We are grown adults and should not have to be MANAGED in this manner. What we need are true Leaders. There is a distinct difference. Atherotech has a group of babysitters not leaders. What the Senior Management needs to do is have all of the RSDs and the Midwest VP go to Leadership School!

He's a great VP

When people are working hard and smart there is nothing more demotivating than filling out hours of useless reports week after week. Why sit and fill out sections of a spreadsheet when the same info shows up in our sales reports that are updated everyday? Why document everything that a new account sends when the same information is available in a report that we ALL have access to?

There are 2 possible reasons why: either the "leader" has no confidence in their ability to "lead" or they have no confidence in the people they have hired. Either or both are a major problem and need to be addressed
 












James is certainly intense and opinionated but he cares about this company and cares about his people. This was one of the best meetings I have attended in my 10 years of being a sales rep and I am glad to be working for James' region
