It has only been 4 months

I'm bailing next week. Several are going to be leaving next week. All of us are going to the same company. Watch the new job postings coming up next week. This could have been a good opportunity if there were half of us, realistic projections, and the company wasn't positioning themselves to be sold so Schroeder, Byrd, et-al will make out like bandits. Too bad what's happening. Wish me and the others luck in our new positions!

I just heard that two people jumped ship on Thursday. Can't wait to see how many jump over the next week.

Gee, I don't know why anyone would bail? We are making all kinds of bonus money (not), our manager seems to be a positive influence and is keeping a good face with us (DEFINITELY NOT), Scott B seemed to have had an excellent pre launch forecast that was attainable (not), RSL hired some tremendous talent at the DSM level (yeah, right), etc, etc, etc. Folks, it is obvious to anyone who has been in this industry for a while. If a product at launch does not hit expectations within the first 6-8 months IT NEVER WILL. This does not look very promising here at Cadence. One more thing, after the All Hands CC this week, I'm starting my job search next Monday. I'm doing this in spite of the fact I have "relatively" good sales in my District and even in the Nation.

Good luck finding other work with those high salaries Cadence threw out to sell Tylenol.

Bye-bye..good luck!

For what position? Nothing about J&J says $130k base, and I'm in device sales with them.

So since you work for J &J you know the bases for all the different areas? Go back to your devices and if you knew anything yoy wouldn't be writing that.

I'll give you a hint.....it'll displace warfin and the twice a day competitor that launched 6 months ago.

It is true....JNJ will pay in that range and even higher if they want someone. I was offered the job at a good base, but they will not compromise on vacation which is only 3 weeks. That is ridiculous at this level and how much work is required. I also don't think Riva will be a huge hit as it is still not yet approved after several years and the market will be saturated with orals soon.

J&J does not even pay their hospital reps. anywhere near this. They avg. below 90,000.

Obviously you're a Cadence manager trying to discourage Cadence reps from exploring their options and taking care of their families! I personally know someone who was just placed with J&J to sell Riva at a base of $127k.

How will it not be big? The market cap for SPAF is 8 billion and VTE is 3 billion and Riva is the only product that will have both indications; plus, it's once a day.

But, you're right, it's not as big as our 500 million cap that we aren't even close to touching!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but talk to some cardiologists. They will tell you that in this economy, the patients simply can't afford more expensive meds and many are doing fine on their warf. Also, the other competitor that has been out for 6 months has really strong data comparatively. Perhaps you left to go there and in that case I hope you are right and good luck.
