Is women's health going to survive

this division seems to be going nowhere. Several products no longer in the bag. No new immediate products in the pipeline. The fibroid drug is coming but when?? No news on that.
Too many people in the field....none of it makes sense. I pray I can find a job soon as the severance package is a pittance.

I just got an offer today. I put in years at Watson/Actavis/Allergan in WH. It's sad to see it has become a dead end. 18 months ago there was a possibility of a bright future for WH. But they continue to screw up the Liletta launch and its subsequent sales and marketing. They have no idea how to position it or compensate us for it. I have no idea what they are going to do when Ironwood pulls it's Linzess agreement. I remember when being an Account Specialist was actually a position where that was a promotion. Now it's just double coverage. Remember Crinone? Remember when they actually knew as much or more than the 'regular' Territory reps? Now they are promoting PCP reps into those roles who know nothing about WH let alone the geography. But when you have leadership that thinks it's not important to know the Marketplace (I remember that lecture from CR and SB) what can you expect.
I'm sad to be gone from here because I was an expert in what I did. I put a lot of time and effort into making my territory profitable and in the top 1/3 every Quarter. But alas, my efforts are for not since i can apparently be replaced at the drop of a hat. Good luck with that. I will still check the site because I spent a lot of blood sweat and tears here and will always be interested to see what happens

i also am intently looking but unfortunately at this time there is not much out there. Putting out feelers to contacts at different companies. I loved working here as well and I loved women's health, now it's questionable if this division will be around long term. I have two products in my bag-definately not the model Jerry lynch and company talk about. To them two products is a joke ( which in women's health it actually is unless u carry liletta which I don't) I give it till the end of the year at best.

You should have 3. The least number is LoLo Estrace and Vyverzii

i agree...I only have two as well...minastrin gone...nuvessa gone. So if u had those before u only are down to Lolo and estrace

This is crazy.
Nuzessa- Womens Health product for a Women's problem. Gone
Minastrin- Womens Health product for a Women's issue. Gone
Crinone - Obvious Women's Health product. Gone
Linzess and Vyverzi- GI Problems not soley Women's issue. Added
So why are we shedding WH products in the WH division? It goes back to Day 1. Forest has no idea how to run WH and it proved false their narrative that you don't need to understand a market segment to sell in it

if you are in WH and have not figured out by the weekly job openings that there is a mass exodus occuring then you are living under a rock. We are definately not part of the future plans.

the fact is that women's health division has been on life support for a good year. They are deciding now when to pull the plug. If u need a job once that happens and you are not looking now you are making a big mistake. Let's just hope we have a few more months to transition out of here. I'm so sick of this!

With the new call plan, as a Women's Health rep, I have more 1st position product details for Linzess than I do for Estrace. I got 55 new Primary care providers added to my call panel and several WH providers fell
Off the list.

The emphasis on the WH product mix is becoming less and less and more emphasis on the primary care products.

Although, the writing was on The wall over the last year, this is a blatant example of how they are basically routing out the WH division. It has more PC legacy Forest reps and managers than Legacy Actavis individuals. And is basically being ran as the PC model. My new partner wants to bring donuts or cookies to every office for better access and to help"grow the business".

Additionally with them removing "building block " products for theWH, GI and other divisions, they are weeding out the products to morph everyone into a smaller company.

I have been actively looking for several months but the job market is slim in my area right now.

This was their plan 2 years ago when we "bought" them and they took over the company.

any idea how much longer we have untill they lay people off? Or reorg? Account specialists are getting some new products in quarter 4 but not sure if that means anything good or bad.

Someone who knew what they were doing could make this division a solid money maker. It was on that trajectory until the children of Forest took over. Imagine these in your bag:
LoLo
Minastrin
Estrace
Nuvessa
Liletta
Addyi
Crinon
And the new drug they've promised for over a year now
Put people in charge who know the market place. Now the landscape, marketing and managed care and this division would rock. Instead we have shed Women's Health Products and our promise to be THE Women's Health Company for GI products and focus on Primary Care. Awesome

my teenager could run around promoting Lolo/estrace- oh wait, there is nothing g left to say about these ancient drugs that we have no studies on and no information to grab a providers attention with- easiest job on the planet and they know it. Liletta is the only product that takes time and is more in depth etc so if you do not have liletta not sure if that will be good or bad. I would love to be here for the rest of my career- easiest gig on the planet but they MUST know that-RIGHT, RIGHT???
