Is Rory C the next VP of sales for Florida?

I saw Rory at a national meeting once. He was supposed to introduce an engineer for a prestigious company award. He spent his 10 minutes talking about himself instead. REAL asswipe.

RC is busy making the rounds in FL getting docs new $tudie$ and trips to Europe for "training". As long as nobody in the gov't cares, BIO will be getting plenty of business around there. If RC is able to drive business, the rest of BIO Mgmt will continue to look to him to lead the way on the east coast.

Ha, too funny. Even funnier is he's done nothing to drive busibess whatsoever. The old "friend$" want nothing to do with him now that he's not backed by an enormous corporate checkbook. Oh so sad. Guess friend$ aren't always friends huh RC? Rumor is even Dan now recognizes the hire is bad. We'll see. What a disasterous +1 years now for Jake. Heads are gonna roll.

I couldn't agree more. What a joke. He protects the people he brought over from Medtronic at the expense of the people actually producing. When will Jake realize that the Medtronic invasion is ruining the company?

Rory c is one of the worst human beings I know. He is a self centered drunk who will get his due.

As a former Mdt employee who spent time years ago at meetings w RC, and who has friends
who used to work for him, I would say you are 1,000,000% correct.
I have seen him staggering drunk at customer meetings picking fights with anyone who looks
at him twice or challenges him in any way. A piece of crap as a person, gives a VERY bad
name to any company. Have always thought a lot of DS, surprised he would hire that
a-hole.

That's why he was fired from MDT along with a sexual harrassment investigation. He is scum and that is why he's with BIO. Apparently BIO isn't ready to change their image and there must be enough scum bag customers out there that BIO feels he's worth employing. He has been trying to bait MDT Florida reps to come over to BIO and they won't bite.

Rory makes Satan appear to be an angel. He hires his minions and all his yes men to surround himself with to boost his ego. Fernando Perez is just his admin. Biotronik is wasting their money on him. You should have heard him on Q1 2013 conference call and sales are down $400K in the first quarter.

I heard every excuse in the book for the reason revenue was down. Rory and Fernando were pounding on their chest for the growth in sales for the previous year. But when you have no business and increase it just a little the percentage can look off the charts. Just one year wonders it appears. They'll be fine for awhile though. Jake apparently believes in them to expand their territory. Rory probably begged for it out of necessity because he knew the numbers wouldn't repeat. He's very good at creating a facade. Jake needs to look further into the numbers to differentiate what's really going on and who is producing.

He hired his brother-in-law for Gainesville there. Steve Dalton is another lying backstabbing fool who cannot sell. He should sink pretty quickly in reality but Rory will screw some rep nearby to make it appear that Steve is having some success. But really, it'll all catch up and then there will be new management. Biotronik will not have the impact they were hoping to have. Completely missed the boat in 2005 when Guidant was having all of their recalls. Should have hired Guidant reps then instead of St. Jude.

Classic Jake Langer miss. When CRM goes to a direct distribution model, then Biotronik will have no reason to operate in the US. Contracts will get divided up amongst the big 3 in IDN's across the country. Biotronik could have succeeded but too many sleazy reps paying for prostitutes (see Orlando reps) or bad management left to their own whims will ultimately be Biotronik's undoing in the US. That's too bad too. Good products and manufacturing but nothing that ever leads the market. EP's are too hungry for new technology to ever give Biotronik the time of day.......unless they are in the payroll (see NYU).
