Writing is on the wall JS! Your people are unhappy, and that does not foster performance.
If, or should I say, when Rory C comes on board, the top producers in the state Florida will leave and the recent hires will not have a clue how to gain their own support. At the same time this will impact have a huge impact/push on east coast management and others all the way to the top. Too many recent DS mistakes need correcting before making another one, especially this huge. Time to step back in the driver seat JS!!

If Dan promotes him it would be the biggest mistake of his professional career. The guy is just bad knews. What a disgrace of a leader. Its schocking he lasted at MDT so long. I guess it helps having your brother as a customer.

Dan's biggest mistake was thinking he could run this company the same way he ran MDT. Making a rep accountable for his business which they didn't think was enough has rubbed people the wrong way. You try selling this company to docs who know the history? I thin they are slowly seeing that it isn't as easy as they thought. They all are every joker who ran from the big 3.
 






Knowing Rory I'm sure he is checking this every hour. The good knews is you are actually getting honest feedback. Instead of all those people you surrounded yourself with in Fla. They lied to you all the time and told you exactly what you wanted to hear.
For the first time you are hearing what an evil person you are.
Your legacy is in place and its an embarassment.

Hear its inevitable that he's joining at some level. It should be a VP of sales level because its only fair to protect the rest of the east coast from the damage this will cause! RC lives off his brother, but he and his blue buddies are nothing more than weasely politicians hiding behind the history of a brand and the success of others. Truth is the customers don't really like you and that will become evidently clear when you are out in the open having to actually sell for real. The Medtronic pawns already put in place in FL will not be able to shield you or carry you and the successful ones don't trust you or like you. A concoction of poisonous people is about to explode by adding Mr Mayhem (thanks Allstate for perfect analogy).

Bring it on! MDT 'pawns'? You can put a monkey in MDT blue and they'll get biz, not on their own merit, but because of the brand awareness that RC helped build...successfully, I might add. So when a MDT rep actually has to sell nowadays? Oh, that's right, MDT reps don't make sales calls. The old timers sold, and know how to, but have been pushed to retirement or other meaningless positions to make room for the new guys that are handed biz on a silver platter.

The new Biotronik team will make you eat your ridiculous words.

You are so wrong. The Medtronic hires are the order takers who don't have a clue how to sell.
 
























The Florida team is still uncovering all the inappropriate things Rory did. Talk about being asleep at the wheel. Where was Conlin during the past few years? MDT is lucky they got rid of Rory before it got real ugly. I mean real ugly

The ego is oblivious to the arrogance RC and the other MDT "old timers" portray! They did nothing for brand awareness and their reputations in the market place are generally poor. Sure, a few drank the koolaid and believe their success can be shared by staying close, but very few that still believe that.
His/your success is very simply attributed to the success of industry - right place, right time. RC and his pawns were not selling. They were (and are) bullies manipulating the MDT monopoly position in an industry that was exploding. Interesting now that things have plateau'd and the monopoly gone that MDT gets rid of the great and successful old timers just when the actual selling is needed most. Further interesting is how the other, more mature companies never picked them up.
Biotronic has its head stubbornly stuck in the sand and is not doing its already poor reputation any good by posting its logo behind those names. Pull your head out not to drink the koolaid, but to look around and survey a bit outside the circle.
 






With all the great news about Bio, wouldn't it be great if Dan finally announces his greatest addition to his leadership team. Rory C makes PE and CF look like saints. This would be the final chapter in Dan's destruction.
