Is Pops a racist?

The ONE job of any CEO is to make money for the shareholders. Period...full stop.

Rich is demonstrably bad at doing this and Sarissa knows it. Decades of evidence (and Friday's closing price of $25.60) prove this. Why would Rich even think he deserves to keep his job?

Rich...you have already missed the opportunity to make a graceful exit. The question now is: How much more ignominy do you want to heap on yourself before you accept the inevitable?

Time for a leadership overhaul. Pops, Nichols, Ferguson all need to go. I’ve never seen lower EQ in a leadership group. Corresponding result is a sales force that is completely disillusioned. Field has zero input regarding anything and that is why the Lybalvi launch has been a complete mess. Compliance and legal won’t approve anything so we are at a complete competitive disadvantage.

The sub-level EQ you mention is rampant at every level. These "leaders" and their minions couldn't motivate people to get out of a burning building.

Pops is not a racist. He's just a rich virtue signaler. I'm not a racist, "we just appointed 2 minorities to our board". Didn't say much about their abilities, experience or anything like that. I think that speaks volumes.

Can any of the KAM haters do math? Let's say a KAM costs $300k / year all in with benefits. How many are there? 30? 40? So maybe they are $10-12mm per year in expense. That's 1% of Alkermes total spend. More? OK, round up. 2%? Regardless of their impact, or lack thereof, a board is not going to focus on such a tiny operational element, and eliminating them (whether it is a good idea or not) is not going to solve the bigger picture problems that Sarissa is ranting about. Stop screeching and start thinking. Jeez.

Are you serious? This company stopped paying for internet service, lol. I think 10-12 million would be a nice savings. Cut the useless kams.
