Is Jack Bailey the best we got to put in charge?

Just got done watching Jack's video and threw up. God help us all. Remember he's the one that brought us Patient First and GSK 360.

Jack didn't have anything to do with Patient First or GSK 360. For all we know, he argued for price reductions with ESI, and was overruled by DC. We'll never know the discussions that truly took place with the CLT. If he did argue for bargaining with ESI, and was right, it would make sense that AW has faith in him. Think about it. He's here. DC isn't. What does that tell you?

Please tell me your high and are just joking. First the ESI account manager leaves(SV) than they push (CR) out the door, next to be shown the door is (RY). Do you really believe that Jack was not responsible? If so, as a 25 year employee I sure hope you dont have account responsibilty.

PS. Where do you think GSK and Patient First came from?

Here's hoping that PPV is next to be offered packages.

And maybe that is his real hair, and monkeys might fly out my butt.

This post, my GSK peeps, is called "revisionist history". And circular logic. GSK, once the #1 pharma company (in sales, NOT in respect) has joined Pfizer in becoming a case study in ineptitude and greed. I look forward to the day that Wharton grads invite our CLT to present our history from 2004-2014. Sharp biz students from around the world will either lick their lips (in anticipation of massive consulting fees that they will charge to fix us) or LOL (Patient First, our launch track record).

I have a ton of equity here, so I am staying until forced out. But trust me, 10 years ago I started working my plan B, and its now more of a Plan A than Plan B.

From industry's biggest fine to PF to sims to horrific launches…..we're the laughingstock of an industry that is circling the drain. Merck, Pfizer, Sanofi are all shadows of former selves. Wyeth, Warner Lambert, Pharmacia, Schering Plough, all absorbed. R&D pipelines are an oxymoron for most.

And we, once-mighty GSK, are stinkin' up the joint with our leadership selections.

Does anybody know when the layoffs will start in PPV? 31 year gray hair here and will take the package when it is 100% . It's been a great ride but have no confidence in the future with the leaders that where announced. Sorry

A master at blaming others. Sold the UK on a story that was not true, that the previous management had over paid discounts and had too much access. Wanted at least 2% reduction on every customers discounts.

Wait till he inspires you with "The Journey" talk, and that he needs to hear about "bad news", not good news. Good luck.
I think his strategies cause nothing but bad news, so there is usually no shortage, and then he blames the implementors.
