Is anyone else experiencing burnout?

And the rest of us are desperately looking to leave. I love my job, I just can't stand the micromanaging twits above me.... I'll be gone in two weeks! Get out, this place is a hell hole! Especially the MSBU....
Me too, I'm wondering if we are going to the same place? I have never wanted to leave a company as much as the MSBU at Novartis.

I couldn't agree more. Coming from another company to sell entresto...I'm amazed at the lack of ambition in some of the legacy novartis reps.
Hey, I was in your shoes when I joined Novartis to launch Gilenya. I could not believe how lazy and negative the legacy reps were. I could not stand to talk to them because of the negativity. Well, 6 years later and still at Novartis, I have become that negative and unmotivated rep and I hate it. I have a job offer and will be Leaving very soon...thank goodness. This place is the worst company I have worked for.

This is a huge mistake Novartis makes. Hiring other companies leftovers. Same recycled trash. They are either greedy and wanted to make a few dollars more, therefore not in it for the patients, or they were let go from their other company due to lack of performance, but interviewed well, or their old manager from their former company wanted to bring their people in so they would feel more comfortable with their lack of knowledge.

I'm new to Novartis selling Entresto and I don't know what I would do without the knowledge of my legacy reps. Their knowledge of the market and disease state are very helpful. Plus learning all the new systems at Novartis is overwhelming. I'm very appreciative of all their help. And yes, when you are in a situations where things are not going well, it's only natural to complain or simply vent while trying to get things done. They are some of the best reps in the industry in my opinion.

Yes, I like the ones that I've meet. If you're an overlay rep making field calls, make sure you let the office know first thing you are there that you are working with the legacy rep to provide better customer service. Otherwise, I had one office call the legacy rep to see why I was there...
