The field rides justify the DM's job. I don't want to be tracked because I end my day early although I do get my number of targets in. I'm just a fast worker. So far no one has said anything to me.... ha ha ha

MICROMANAGEMENT AND DM HAND-HOLDING IS THE HALLMARK OF PUBLICIS! I have had more than one office complain that I bring my DM in too often! With so many offices closing their doors to DM's (and reps!), you would think that UPPER MANAGEMENT would get the damn message! Back off the field rides and let us do our jobs!

Absolutely spot on! The field rides have been pissing off offices more than ever!! It really is time to back off.

Managers are a waste of time and money. My 5 year old can detail my drug better than my idiot manager. They get paid a lot of money to approve expense reports and rack up hotel/air miles.

The "DM" part of the pharma management model is so outdated that it is laughable. But, it's all upper management knows. What an antiquated industry.

Approx 80 percent of my territory won't let a Dm in, it is hard enough for me to get limited time. They have said no partners detailing coming in together

Your DM has 10 or so more reps. you have 20% of a territory. Did you take math?

When they want to work ith you a different city each visit, it is difficult and offices get mad. Offices are fed up with dms
