interview process

Too funny last week in Las Vegas!! The rep and manager working together submitting a GFRS for a 750 dollar display for a Yoga talk and gift cards. I was rolling. Talk of the meeting.

Very cool that compliance is starting to look the other way on some of these items. After hearing that last week, I think my manager is going to approve a $1500 display fee for a Holiday party through GFRS. $500 for food and a $1000 for gift cards for raffles for the docs and nurses.

Had an iv today and I killed it! I know all the docs in the territory since I've called on them before and have a lot of retina experience so it should be easy coming onboard. Wanted to know what kind of cars do you guys get? Or do you get an allowance?

So Genentech HR, Compliance and Legal are looking the other way as a manager approves display fees for gift cards.

Do research on the organization. Read as much as you can on the medication you will be selling and its competition. During some of the interviews you may have to discuss a clinical reprint, etc...They want to make sure you can verbalize the outcomes in a clear and concise manner. Be on your A game because its that type for place, not a Mickey Mouse pharma company. It is a great place to work and they treat you with respect and dignity, which is hard to find.

any company with over 1,000 employees and over 1 billion in revenue is a "Mickey Mouse" company to work for...Mickey Mouse in the fact that you are just a number.
Stop with your Kool Aid drink.

Interview process at GNE is very political. Best candidate is very rarely hired, especially with the recent "wanting to save" all the internal people from being downsized. Should have packaged most out and moved on because there are may trying to clean up the mess that has created with big pharma feel. Recent departures from two sr leaders will create lots of openings once the other company starts hiring......

If you went up against an internal candidate you won't get the job. GenT. Loves inbreeding !!!!!
