Insights appreciated please

As an update I think I may be going a different direction, looks like an opportunity in the cardiorenal area is a real possibility. I think ESPR is potentially promising, and I don’t think it would be a bad way to go, but I do like the idea of a bird in the hand. Thanks for the feedback, some of it was useful.

Just always remember you dodged the sword in the gut with Esperion. Congrats on coming to your senses and not staining your resume. Good luck .

I applaud your insight to seek out guidance and opinions on Esperion. The purpose of cafepharma is to give you a pulse of the company and give you options to think about. When you spend 10 minutes researching Esperion on Cafepharma you can fully understand the ramifications of seeking employment with Esperion. Well done for doing your research.

Better to be safe than sorry. I'm ecstatic I wasn't chosen in those disgusting interviews.

Well it been a wild ride but I’m onboard with ESPR! Overall it just made more sense and I’m very comfortable with the manager, which is always a very important factor in job satisfaction. Im anxious to get going as the bar is low and I think it can be easily exceeded. There is a lot of opportunities to grow the franchise and the outcomes data can really jumpstart a brand. Here we go!

We've been hearing the same shit for 3 years. How much lower can the bar go?? $78.00 a share to flaccid $5.00 -$7.00 in 3 years. Not much ro be excited about. Outcomes will do nothing. No unmet need made. Similar reductions with a generic statin pill. All smoke and mirrors and fleecing of investors. This has to stop sometime. Somebody is eventually going to have to pay bills or file bankruptcy or get sold off to Dr Reddy Pharmaceuticals to push this in 3rd world countries. Bravo! Job well done Esperion.

Maybe different in a year is a big stretch. Esperion has been saying the same things for the last 3 years about turning the corner, things are looking up, upticks in scripts. Esperion had 13 million in net sales in the US the last quarter. This should tell you something about how the product is being accepted in the market. There's micromanagement because there's a great deal of pressure to generate scripts. Many people were shown the door in 2020 and 2021 and this is how they downsized the salesforce. They had to cut budgets as the scripts just weren't coming. The pandemic hurt for sure but many pharma companies that launched in 2020 succeeded during the pandemic. If you need the job to pay the bills take it but you'll have to keep your ears open for something better. It won't take you long to realize this company isn't the most well run company. A few decent people in the Ann Arbor office but honestly the regional supervisors aren't an impressive bunch. Good luck to you.
Was the regional SR let go? I hear he is over at a contract company now.

Wild ride ? Is this Giddy Up back ?

Hell yes the bar is low ! You passed the Scientific Process !

"There is a lot of opportunities to grow the franchise and the outcomes data can really jumpstart a brand." - What was the Kool-Aid flavor ?

Geez.

Hey I’ll be onboarding soon, does anyone have any tips or suggestions on working through the process? It seems like the menu of benefits are pretty generous, I’m a little confused about how the equity options work. How responsive is HR, Thanks for any advice.

Dear Mr. New Onboard.

Why are you asking on Cafe Pharma? You said you had a wonderful manager. Why not ask him ? Is there a Trust issue before you start ? Scientific Hire process brought doubt ?

Hmm...

Another bogus Ann Arbor lackey response. Clearly your a perfect fit for Esperion. Dumb as fuck and a Scientific Hire.
