Well, I am more concerned with having to large of a sales force. It is going to feel like we are working in PODs again. Now we are hearing about Ingrezza AE issues. Our situation does not look good here. Has me thinking I made a mistake.

Then leave. My goodness, psych salesforce is perfect sized, could even use a few more actually. Neuro territories are huge, there will be enough volume to cover that sales force with HD indication and Ongentys. Now...LTC...we all know, they are the first to go in any company and they probably bought themselves an 18-24 month gig.

Ingrezza will be a 2 billion dollar drug by 2023, possibly 2022 but that's a stretch. Let those numbers sink in. The sky is not falling.

Ok. Someone drank the Kool aid. Ingrezza was a $987 million drug in 20. It going to be a 1.1-1.2 billion in 21. Missing its 2021 forecast of $2 billion by 47%. We probably will do better in 22, but not $2 billion. remember Austedo has orphan status for HD until March 2023. So it will be hard selling off label and virtually no formulary coverage or step edit where austedo must be tried first. Not to mention Neuros will pay much closer attention to drug interactions and AE profile. So until Ingrezza gets lower doses the reduce the front loading, it will be a 3rd rate drug for HD with Austedo being preferred, tetrabenazine being second. I don't see us hitting $2 billion. Shareholders lost faith in that too about 4 months ago which is why our stock tanked. I'm sorry, but we will be laying people off in 6 months. Or calling it a reorg as we dump ltc, and consolidate psych and neuro.

It depends where you are. Ingrezza is doing good in many spots. Mostly LTC. But Austedo is beating us up pretty good up here over the last 12 months.

Our territories are pretty big which is why it would be nice to have a company car.

$2 billion will not happen in 2022. Slight possibility in 2023, but I would not bet on it.

LTC should never have happened. I agree, they will be gone in 6 months. Fact is we are still hiring for Neurology. It's getting crowded fast. We are hiring because teva does not have money for a large Salesforce. They have what...160-170 reps nationwide? We are hiring to overwhelm them. Two things will happen: we either blow them out of the water and teva just wants to maintain or we realize we have too many reps for a $1-2billion drug. Because without competition you do not need a large Salesforce. So you lay off reps to increase profits to make shareholders happy. Which they are not since we are down to $75 a share from its high of $132.

Either way we will have 1 or 2 layoffs in the next year or two.

Ok guys, this is getting absolutely ridiculous. There are over 800 views of this post and only 25 responses or comments, which are probably from the same 3 or 4 people. My bigger concern here as a new rep with Neurocrine and I mean new like in "newly hired" during the Christmas break, is that all this makes me really nervous. I left a pretty decent company with great prescriber relationships and an equally superior product and I am freaking out!!! What recourse do I have if I was sold a bill of goods? I gave up my tenure, seniority, company car benefit, previous sales team relationships and familiarity of company operations and now I might be laid off in 6-8 months? It's already a struggle trying to change prescribing habits of my customers when just 6 months ago I was selling based on my other product advantages at the time, but all this is really hard to handle. Is it unheard of in our industry to seek legal advise for being provided a job opportunity based of false or covered up information that maybe the company knew of without disclosure?

Welcome to Neurocrine. You should have done your homework

Just go out there and sell your ass off my friend. Don't sweat the small stuff right now. We'll get through it the Neurocrine way!

Lol! Ya, hire you from the competitor, run you ragged for 6-8 months, invest very little into you (avg benefits, low vested 401k, no company car, etc) then let you go.

"The Neurocrine way"

Chalk it up as you made a career killing decision and now you must face the consequences. Next time you may not be so gullible.

Here again with all the personal attacks. I don't need your career advice. I just need what was conveyed to me when I accepted my offer and decided to come over here. If these type of attitudes and character are on display at the meeting like the ones being shown on this board, that's all I need to see and know. Then I'll know I made a poor decision and move on. There are plenty of other companies that I'm sure would appreciate my talents.

You’ve got the food allergies of your offices categorized alphabetically, and no one has a more efficient lunch and Starbucks ordering system than you. Good for you, kiddo. Shut up. You’re a pharma rep. There’s no talent necessary to recite a detail aid and PI while waiting on a signature.

Not to mention the fact that most of us here are pulling down $150-160 G to be glorified caterers and ass kissers. Screw the clinical BS. If you don't know your PI or dosing, just make some sh#% up. Nobody is listening to us anyways. This is such a gravy train career and everyone knows it. Shut up and ride it as long as you can. We have doubled in size over here so no one has time to call you out.

again if you don’t need career advice, don’t put your loser career problems all over cafe pharma. You relish in being a cafe. Pharma ass clown. Dummy

Ya, you do that when a perscriber asks you about section 7 in our Ingrezza PI.Then they asks you about the AEs on the FDA website which is starting to pop up in more and more conversations due to lawsuits with LTC perscribers. We are in for a rocky year if these lawsuits continue to grow. We have 4x more deaths then austedo and tetrabenazine combined! This problem is not going away. What are we doing about this?

Indeed trolling is 90% of what cafe pharma is.

LOL! that is true. But it still does not change the fact the FDA website FAERS does back up what the person posted on AEs/Death, and sec 7 of our PI does state our drug interaction problems. While CF is a place for angry ex-employees to cause problems, the fact remains the info on Ingrezza is true. I have not heard anything with my team on this issue but if Teva starts to talk about this stuff we could be in serious trouble. Metabolism is one thing, but this FDA thing could be a big deal. Granted we do not know the specifics of these cases; however, do we have a response to this problem?

I did not find much on the lawsuits, but that does not mean it isn't true.
