Fatal flaw in presenting this to these "leaders" was not defining a concrete path back to what's in it for them! If its not directly there.... A+b=c these leaders do not get it. You're expecting them to apply a human element for the first time ever into their business decisions? Come on?! Don't be so naive! They don't understand the social dynamics of corporate motivation. Their idea ends with polished motivating presentations at meetings, that should suffice... Hoorah fh!!!

This company blows. I'm sick and tired of the Galderma B.S. and the kool aid they try to make us drink. Yet they are getting shit faced drunk, hooking up with reps and promising them they'll keep their jobs (Yes, I'm talking about you JT, DK and LB). Keep drinking and screwing. It's working for you. Well, if they keep their job... I guess it is working! Hell... who do I need to screw to make sure I'm not a goner?!?
 








No big surprise, but lets face facts. Albert overstaffed the Marketing, Finance, and added one to two many sales teams. Then built up a whole entire building to house everybody in Ft Worth. Then he was sent back to Europe we got an incompetent French Clown in his place who empowered a ridiculously incompetent and foolish HR lady. ( Kristine). More foolish Medical and Finance home office people. Also, Kristine - Loved the see through pants at the National Sales meeting by the way a few years back. And the silly lecture on Starbucks over building their retail stores.Please bring that act back to the states this year if you can. it will be the talk of the shortened National Sales meeting. Then they both chased out the better talent in the home office that actually built the place up. After all of the that- Managed Care contracts that did not really expand access simply costs - co pay card games every quarter and a culture that simply blames all sales teams for not hitting profit goals set by Humberto. No acquisitions to add product and now we wait for the inevitable sale of the company and or downsizing to improve the profit picture before the sale. Whoever is using the term leadership on these threads, please stop. The help to lead the place right into the ground. The good news is that there are plenty of derm opportunities coming out there in 2014 and plenty of ex Galderma people at are soon to be in place to help us to transition out of this place before it goes down. Merry Christmas ! Next year will be better - simply not here. Have fun at the January meeting and then say goodbye to this place.
 




THIS is what's happening-

PIPS are being given out to get rid of underperformers that will not be replaced-
PED division will be dismantled and top prescribers will be picked up by Galderma
Cutiscience will be sliced and diced to half left with Spray and the promotion of Cetaphil to retail
Theracutix will remail in tact till unless you arein the last 20% rankings for 2 consistent years and you are a gonner

December 21st have your resumes up to date.
DM's and Regioanls know almost nothing and will be told to weed out the underachievers when they return from the managers meeting.

The current leaders did. People like kc making awful card decisions with no accountability and his "fellas" not stepping forward saying enough already!
Other nm's now not standing up for equitable sales standards from cards to contests... It's all leadership! This is all unprecedented in our industry. Other companies make it right for their employees and the families they represent. Galderma snubs them. It's no wonder the reps are the one talking to the the providers, describing what the company is doing... And the pr nightmare grows and impacts business. Right or wrong it's a natural progression. As a business leader if you only look at numbers and you do not understand human behavior you need to go back to school... In all seriousness because the result of such inadequate leadership is disaster for an organization.

so true . i'm in sales , the home office favoritism is like nothing I have ever seen anywhere . sales forces have to go ? REALLY ! when 90% of the home office where on last years booze cruise / inner circle . Duplication and a sense of entitlement fill the air when around home office personal. so clicky , zero regard for how they come across to other employees so arrogant and such small man parts syndrome there.

What about cuts to :

NAM s , what value in their current numbers do they provide ?
MSL s , ditto need 2 , 3 tops
Training department ? need only half of what they have
Meeting Planning , only Chuck or Tom . Why both ? Duplicate the effort ? don't only companies out source this.
Marketing ? let's analyze the shit out of our problems & have different cards all over the place . providers aren't confused or anything , they really trust us .

O and let's spend a ton of money on AAD and do more real commitment speeches . that has awesome ROI

Makes perfect sense to really downsize sales force while keeping all else in tact . Mr VP got the job & his skill set doesn't match his ego . He relies on his WOO and the rest we see now is weak

too many home office people are Galderma for life they just don't get it . They all came up together and just can't face the truth that the serious issues here are rooted in the place they call home most days . An army of followers who tell us they are leaders . Can't wait to be sitting at national meeting and hear how important sales force are .

Change MUST come from the top through the fat middle , I echo what has been said on this board over and again the value placed in the home office personal is misplaced as the sales people and managers are the drivers of income and providers are not easily won over with cheap gimmicks

trust is broken between field and home office the culture is bad a morale is low
 




Mike C has been a great addition as director for theracutix . We have all made so much loot this year , the rebate card differences & grow for dough were well thought out & very fair . I always motivated to do more & be paid less. Oracea we are told is everything here at galderma yet I have to re gift nikes from the mirvaso launch this Christmas . I'm just glad I generated so many oracea sales for the company
 




We are going to buy valeant. We are going to use a rebate card. I'm excited though because kc knows how to pull this off and no one with a tie will ask questions or hold him accountable when he screws tons of people over. We are not firing people... Silly goose! We are going to simply make people's life hell so they want to leave. So... Don't you?!?!?

The last two years have been a awful . Do people even care anymore ? Can Galderma emerge from the shadow of Francis or will Fraser prove us right about his only being in it for Fraser . The next six months will be very telling .

How do you know it was a he ? A manager ? A lot of emotion has fueled these posts over the last couple of months . We all need to take a deep breath . In the end none of this has been pretty or funny . This board is about expression , if you don't agree you are not bound to visit. Not everyone thinks like you or acts like you . Many on this board are most likely a mild mannered person who vents here because they can.

The only change you can effect today is the change you make in yourself . In the end we live in the USA & last time I checked we were free to seek employment where we wish.

No, it doesn't. But you probably want to start with executives literally incapable of responding to a rapidly changing market place. A sales director with zero vision or reasonable experience with leading a motivated group. He motivated pockets. Divided the country with cards, etc. truly remarkable. The competition started going into territories asking offices, "so, dr so-n-so across the street has this special rebate card, do you???". and created major pr nightmares. But these middle managers do not understand consequences. They don't have that vision... Quite honestly they lack the fortitude to think this way or speak out assertively enough if they do. The reps watched this with the curly-card. They watched it across divisions in 2013. Yet, the company kept these managers last week. They didn't invest. They balked at the deal in 2011 and let medicis grow. It was a horrible move by ff and bu. this is not tough stuff. You don't need actuarial scientists to figure this out! You need someone to understand human behavior. Its only months now.... So

I think you mean "unforeseeable". But I agree, most of the US does not respond well to public nudity. As an example, NASA had to remove the genitalia from the depictions of humans on the first Voyager 1 golden record of earth sounds and images. I guess the aliens that find it would be offended by the images of naked humans.
As an aside, Mirvaso is reving up in my area. The derms are addressing patient issues and refills are definitely happening.
