Yeh....Who would have thunk it that IMS would still keep a bunch of failures like those from SDI on the payroll?
Ye know not what ye speak. By the time Ari finishes with SDI and IMS the only ones left employed onshore in the USA will be himself and his executive team in CT.
Door hit them in the ass? Are you kidding me.... they are the lucky ones. I would rather be them than those left living in the bowels of IMS\SDI.
On Thursday they got rid of 2 guys in marketing who were great at what they did and were joys to work with. In that department those were the 2 people who should have been the safest.
Im wondering if any morale will return. I know half the people hate going in the plymouth meeting facility and the other half are looking for a job. I see it getting worse before it gets better. They are laying off good people without haste and it will end up being an issue, however, with the morale and unhappiness, who is really luckier?
I feel bad for the existing IMS people. I'm here to tell you that you guys have some s h i t t y baggage to deal with in SDI/Verispan people. Good luck!

True - I remember listening to one of Ari's speech's.....like 'we get the data........we do something with the data...........then we sell the data'...........like WTF....do you have ANY IDEA of what pharma analytics is? Between that and changing US CEO's every 6 months.......they used to say Verispan was screwed up.........LOL
And the scary part of that there are people from SDI that are garbage and they may be put in powerful positions. I never thought WK would be safe....Now they are safer than anyone and there business is and will be growing.
The real scary thing besides having all the verispan idiots is who they put in charge. dave lucey seems to be doing okay, but dan barton is making people flock for the doors. He's a major head case with anger issues and poor decisions. What a mistake putting that clown in charge. Total screw up.

Kress is on the road most of the time. Ross left the company months ago. Dublin left too.
Can anyone explain to me why IMS gave David Desch his walking papers? I've never met a better HR exec. The guy answered questions, responded to after-hours e-mails, and was genuinely helpful. Funny way to reward competence

Guess everone is happy at IMS/SDI these days - no one is really bitching about anything..........saw kress in the hall the other day.....guess he's glad that someone else is running the show.........hope they dont f it up like he did.....
No one is complaining anymore because we've given up. It's not worth complaining- we should all be spending our energy trying to GET OUT. The legal folks should be on alert- there are so many execs who don't treat their people right and who are downright abusive. They don't care one bit about their employees- that's obvious. Investors- are you out there reading this stuff? I'm sure you don't care, but once the economy gets a little better, there will be a mass exit.
