Ignoring the resurgence...

maybe keep them out if your car.

I grow weary of the FLL-bashing threads but after reading this post from an FLL (supposedly) I'm starting to understand.

The sentence can have 2 different meanings, depending on what is the error:

and maybe keep them out of your car.

Or

and maybe keep them out if you care.

FLL here, I agree with the post about us not being in the field right now- seems a little inappropriate.
FLL’s want to do well just like you and sometimes don’t know how to contribute so they think they need to see you in action.
Be proactive and share what you are doing with Customers and how you are selling but be honest because it’s easy to tell if it’s a lie and then you lose trust.
Being proactive with your FLL will make a difference and maybe keep them out if your car.

You are not a first line leader. "They think they need to see you in action." No it's a mandate to ride with reps and its part of a FLL's job. It's also tracked by VP's as a percentage of an FLL's working time and used as 'objective' information for coaching reports. Any FLL knows this and would not say otherwise. Also why does it seem inappropriate? But on the other hand it seems appropriate to have reps run around in the field while covid cases are on the rise?

I am fully vaccinated and NOT worried about being in the field. The problem I have is my Florida FLL is still pushing to be in the field with our team. It’s hard enough getting in these offices myself right now, much less bringing my manager with me. And Deb and Harbour still allow this to go on which is not good for business. I appreciate Harbour’s voicemails for safety concerns, but let us sell, do what’s right for our business and please keep these FLL at home.

Management should mandate that each FLL have their 10 independent (A&B) customers to call on so that these FLLs lead by example and can prove that the C2W they provide to sales professionals is not based on how smart they are in writing but is based on real life experiences. This way these FLLs will contribute in sales bonus they earn and justify their existence as sales leaders.

It’s not a mandate that FLL’s ride with Reps, a FLL can do observation reports in many different ways, they can coach a Rep virtually.
My point about it being inappropriate was based on the current increase in Covid cases and nothing more, it’s challenging for some Reps to get into offices so they don’t need a second person with them during this Covid spike.
You can choose to listen or just reply with something silly, be proactive, keep your Manager informed of what you are doing and see if it makes a difference.

If a rep tests positive just cite it as real world evidence. Just a sneak peak at how pathetic of a company GSK is, was and ever will be.

Are they still fraudulently paying doctors as speakers for fake programs?

Cheers!
