Absolutely! Just because someone is a political and ideological opponent does not mean that they are an enemy.

Hairy and I agree about very little. I'm always more than happy to bust his chops, but he's lost his dad. That's a big deal and basic compassion and empathy for another person dictate sincere condolences which is what I offered. In addition, Hairy's father seemed to be a very good man from his obit. No reason not to honor and grieve the passing of a good person.

Now since Vag seems to be having trouble thinking rationally these days, why don't you ask him a question. That should go over well!
