If Vagisil starts getting cranky

Here's what I mean about effectibvely spreading the Christian faith vs using an annoying, nagging, prosthyltizing style like You, MFAS. There's a young Hollywood acvtor who grew up with my kids, spent a lot of time at our house and went tho HS with them. As an actor his bet known roile is starring in theTV show, Chuck. He also sang during the Academy Awards. Zack was a very well like an inspirational young man during the time he was around our town and he still is. Here's what Wikipedia says about his being Christian.

Levi is a Christian and has been since childhood. In a 2002 interview with Relevant Magazine, he said, "My job on my set, I believe, is to first just love people and gain that trust with people where they know that I really do love them and care about their well-being, so that when they are running into problems, they will hopefully, at some point, come to me and ask me, 'What is your peace all about? What is your comfort all about? Where do you get your love? Where do you get your talents?' And I can turn to them and say without blinking, 'Jesus Christ.'"

This is a man I could listen to, he never hung around, sniped and tried to tell everyone how perfect he was like you do, he just led by example. I'm willing to bet there are people on this board who know much more than you about scripture. They just aren't arrogant and mouthing off about it and when the time is right, they will speak.

And people will listen.

As far as being old? I'm probably younger than you are, though we are probably roughly the same age. Egomaniac? Hardly, just evidence that you aren't able to hold up your end of the argument.

I am embarrassed for you, Vag. To compare actual day to day living with discussion on a message board is just insane.

Sounds like Zack does a great job of living his faith in his daily life, just as I do a great job of arguing intellectually on a message board for Christian values, morality and public policy.

This is in no way a criticism of Zack, but his great modeling of of his Christian faith hasn't won you over so far now has it? Your kids, maybe? I don't know. But it does beg the question of whether or not another approach might be helpful.

Personal evangelism, friendship evangelism is always the best evangelism, but I'm probably not going to ever have the chance to meet you personally now am I? We don't have a personal relationship other than a "cyber" one.

The bottom line is that you're just being difficult and stubborn. You don't like WHAT I stand for or at the very least you don't like me firmly standing for it. That's the real problem you have, admit it? There is no way on this message board that I could approach you that would really suit you.

I suggest you stop your whining and grow up. I'm one of the kindest, most considerate, most easy to get along with people you could ever hope to meet in real life (no I'm not bragging, just making a point that happens to be true), but his isn't real life, this is a message board. And no, I'm not a shrinking violet in my day to day life only to come on here to be an internet bully. The fact is that different judgement and different behavior is appropriate for different settings. This is a message board, that should have been your first clue.

The bottom line is that I don't have any malice for you. I'm not above messing with you and taking humorous shots at you here, but I don't wish anything but the best for you. That happens to be one reason why I push for Christian morals and values. They are what's best for individuals and for societies. I don't approve of your lifestyle choices, but you are free to make them. Are you so insecure in your choices, that you can't stand to have them scrutinized and criticized?

It is amusing to watch you whine about someone elses faith in religion yet you refuse to acknowldge that the theory of evolution requiires just as much faith as does atheism.

You are no less certain in your beliefs, yet you decry that certainty in others.

But, then I knew you would get cranky over the 401K given your untenable situation wanting to retire and all. My guess is you are relying on some bullshit pharma pension that is tied to interest rates and you are shitting your

No, it's much more than "just" faith. It is faith for which there is considerable rational evidence.

Values and behaviors have consequences. That is clear from all sorts of sources but you don't want to acknowledge that.

Interesting talk coming from someone from whom I'm still waiting to hear what his favorite Harrison tunes are!

I've not started any political threads on here. Usually don't bring it up unless someone else does. Then you go off the deep end and falsely accuse me of hijacking threads. Meanwhile your hypocrisy is showing once again. We have posters here on the playground that have abortion in their sig lines. Few things are more politically provocative and yet you somehow can't get around to saying anything to them about not bringing politics into the playground. You yourself have brought politics into the playground.

While it's reasonable to call for no politics here, religion is a whole different topic. You can save your breath on that one. It'll be here as long as I am. But thanks for doing your normal great job of being tolerant and supporting free speech and all!:D

You're one of the most low-classed, insincere people I've had the dispeasure to converse with.
