Once again it's very cloudy and warm today. But it really does look like rain today.
Amitiza and I walked by the lake for about an hour earlier this morning.
The doc and his wife invited us to his home for dinner this evening. My spouse and I will go because I really do enjoy spending time with them!
If it's not raining tomorrow, I'll probably take down my Christmas Lights.

It's colder and rainy this morning! But the weather forecast calls for the rain to end this afternoon, and the temperature to reach about 60 degrees. It was close to 20 degrees warmer yesterday!

Some of our friends are playing golf today. I won't play again until next Wednesday, January 6. Our usual courses will be closed tomorrow. No one wants to play on New Year's Day! It's a day for football!
Later today I'm anxious to watch The University of Texas play Utah in the Alamo Dome in San Antonio. I must admit I don't know how U.T. gets to play a highly ranked team like The University of Utah!

Today here is mild and rainy, but Amitiza and I did walk by the lake for a short time.Because of the rain, my yard guys have not come. But tomorrow is supposed to be rain- free! Hopefully! I have already taken down my Christmas Lights!
Yes, I was surprised that U.T. had such an easy time beating Utah on Tuesday! U.T. had a 7-5 record during their regular football season! But they looked good in the Alamo Bowl!

Amitiza and I didn't get to go to the lake yet today. I'm waiting here at home for the TV company, Xfinity, to fix my HD programming. But we'll go to the lake later this afternoon.

Today will be a good day to be close to home. Tomorrow I may go fishing with one of my neighbors. Next week I may work a couple of days at the Resale Shop next to the Woman's Shelter.

Well. got my T.V. fixed yesterday. It seems the problem I had is fairly wide- spread in the Houston area.
I got up early this morning and my neighbor and I fished for a couple of hours. I did manage to catch a couple of Flounders!
Today I'll watch the Texans play Buffalo this afternoon. A couple of friends are coming over to watch the game with me in my Media Room! The game starts about 3:30 CST.

The Texans now move on in the NFL Playoff's, since they beat Buffalo yesterday, 22- 19. Next Sunday they play the Chiefs in Kansas City! It should be a good game!

Well, it's a little bit cooler this morning when we walked at the lake. It is sunny, and temperatures are supposed to reach the upper 60's this afternoon! But still it was a pleasant walk y the water. Several people from our group were playing golf. I'm excited about playing golf tomorrow! We've decided on Thai Food for our lunch tomorrow.

I had a nice round of golf today! I managed to shoot an 82! We teed- off this morning, and it was quite chilly! But it warmed- up quickly by about 9:30. All in all, it was a nice day of golf with friends! We played on the doc's home course at Sugar Creek Country Club.
After golf we had lunch at The Thai Cottage in Sugar Land. The food is always great there! I had my usual pork and veggie dish. Wonderful!
