How's The Old New England Region Doing?

These places are a model for the rest of the country as we move toward socialized medicine. Medicine will be contracted not sold at that doctor level which is largely true now.

This is all just pretend and PARTNERS not only doesn't see you they hate Vitamin T.

So with head count reduction coming soon to NN is New Eng. on the map? Let the backstabbing begin.

You can say that again. Whoever has cell phone pics of their manager in compromising positions better get them ready because your "team mates" will be bad mouthing everyone to avoid a cut. Happened before will happen again.

Yeah, you can say that again . Too many people that have been in this industry their whole life who know they won't find work in another industry and this one is dying so they will get a bit competitive with each other and for their manager's favor.

hmmmmmmm, reduction in NE or in Boston? Yeah, lets go make 8 calls a day where?

so what we don't make 8 calls a day?!

Dont hate on us because we're efficient. While you uncultured dweebs from flyover country are scurrying back-n-forth between Panera and your docs offices, we're presenting Tresiba to P&T Committees at the Deaconness, or working the room at Mass General Physician Organization monthly meetings. Or hanging out with same at our beach house in Truro.

Dont hate…IMITATE (or at least, try to)

I might have believed this post if you said your beach house in P-town, because you sound totally gay.

Tic, toc, tic, toc, the clock has started ticking. Let the games begin.

So who are the most expensive reps or managers in the areas where there is NO access?

hmmmmm. let the games begin.

Ok, the last time I had a field ride in and around one NE city I could NOT fill the entire day with calls because we are banned from so many places and the manager gets pissed off at me when it is their POLICY not to see any reps.

I miss the days when this post would be met with a nasty snide response like "thats a YOU problem!!!", or "Just because your customers don't see the value in seeing YOU, don't paint us all with your ugly brush!"

The truth is that access in places with ham-handed hospital systems or health plans is dwindling. In my territory, my competitors and I are in the same boat. When our bosses are coming for field rides, we've got to spend a day or two setting up a full day.

Agreed, and even after speeding all that time to set up a "full" ride day some of the appointments are an embarrassment in terms of was any business actually moved to help the company and my rankings. I'll ask my manager how to solve the problem.

So is Boston gone? Ouch.

I once asked my DBM how she would like for me to break with status quo in my territory, and "force" doctors in no-see offices to see me. Her response was classic: she stumbled and bumbled, and then told me about the time when she was a new rep for another company her counterpart dressed up like Pippy Longstocking during Halloween, and dropped off candies for office staff. One of the doctors were summoned to check her out, and she got to quickly switch to a "sample only" call. My boss told me that she wasn't instructing me to do likewise, but that she needed me to be more creative in order to get face time. She didn't have to tell me that this incident took place in the late 90s! Of course there were no concrete recommendations given, even though she knows full well the strict no-see policy in the great majority of my big offices.

I once told my manager I was out of offices to take him because of the POSTED NO SEE policy and he was furious so I took him to one of the buildings and tried to get in and was immediately told to leave. He chilled out a little bit.
